maybi try re downloading the demo or make a ci-en acc and dl it direct from the site

Heyo, just wanted to bring this here and say I tried to attempt a manual translation of the game for everyone. It should be a few steps up from the already present machine translation.

Hope you all enjoy ^^;

Installation is pretty easy, but I did include instructions just in case. You'll also need the latest demo itself from cien or somewhere else.

And so more people can enjoy the content of the demo as the developer intended?

A manual translation helps people enjoy the game and make better decisions on if they want to support the Dev or not. I'm not really sure why you would ask questions with such obvious answers...

I spent a lot of time working on this translation, so I hope people will enjoy it ><;

well first of no one asked for a better translation,
don't think anyone has problems understanding machine translation

in fact the only problem people have with the demo
is that the girls don't show up even though their system is all set to japanese
(maybe you can try find a solution for that)

Sorry, but can anyone give a different download link. This one does not work for me (error 403 forbidden), nor does google translate work (it just loops the "are you 18?" thing, unless I say no in which case it sends me back to the start page). Would really appreciate it if someone could give me another download link that works for me or give a step by step guide on how to register and download the demo myself.

I know I don't post here often, so I realize that a sudden post from me on this forum could be interpreted as rather off, and it's true. I normally post on ulmf, but all the same I thought to share my translation here so more people would get to experience the game properly.

I translate things because I enjoy it, to allow people to properly enjoy games that I think warrant attention, and also to stop me from getting burnt out from translating Succubus Senki. However, I had no idea that me sharing my translation would be interpreted as "shameless publicity" or that "no one asked for this". I had no idea I'd get such a toxic response after sharing, which was really disappointing to see.

If this was the outlook people had (especially seeing deckers signature calling people that use patreon like me are "scammers"), fan translations would never be a thing. Translation work is hard, and the support I get through it really means a lot to me. If it wasn't for awesome people like that, I wouldn't be able to keep translating.

In anycase on a lighter note, as Sandsea says I know there's no such thing as a perfect translation.
If anyone spots anything off in the translation at all, please do let me know either on the translation server (which I won't link here in case that's interpreted as shameless publicity also) or by DM and I'll fix it. I also made a github too so people can even submit changes to it directly if they want to. (

Still, I'm happy that despite this, others were still able to enjoy the translation. I take all comments I get to heart, even though the ones decker wrote were really saddening to me.

especially when the translation is half-assed or breaks/bugs the game
(or even removes parts of it)

I think I need to clear up some things, because assumptions are being made here.

1. Excess M themselves helped me work on this translation (they also helped by providing extra story info for translation purposes).
The added message you refer to is not me promoting myself, but their personal thanks for the translation. I can't believe that the developer's thanks for translating the demo for them would be turned around as a "bitch move".
If people felt that strongly about it I would even be as willing to contact them with an updated translation to have it removed, but as it stands I can't believe people would come to that assumption....

2. The translation does not break the game nor is "half-assed". Those are very hurtful comments. The game itself may not work without using Japanese Locale but that's a game fault and not related to the translation.

3. The translation is made to be as accurate as possible to the Japanese text.
other translations may leave stuff out maybe, but when I translate something, I keep everything in and as accurate as possible.

This is the last post that I'm going to make about this, and I'll let others who are interested in this topic read through what has been said and come to their own conclusion. This has been a very toxic dialogue for me and I believe everyone has said their opinions on the matter.

decker2 I think that's on excessM, if you mean the missing missions and the broken, unresponsive buttons that pop up (talk around town, missions that should be there but aren't, blacksmith, etc.).
I'll need to look into some stuff between brackets that should have been left in Jap... maybe?

i think that's actually part of the new map, they did redo the demo because they didn't like it
