So, I’ve replayed the main game from scratch, then I’ve played the Halloween Special thingy that was supposed to be important for the main story. I should not have listened to the dev because this special episode adds nothing at all to the main plot, zero, nada, zip. You get no additional information from it that would be useful, it was just a huuuge waste of time coding and rendering it imo, time that would have been better spent on chapter 4, even if it was just half of it. I now fully understand the frustration of all the players who have been waiting for 3 and a half years just to see this disappointing update. Don’t get me wrong, there was a lot of quality work involved in it, it shows, but I still can’t get out of my head why the dev thought it would be a brilliant idea to produce this special episode after 3 and a half years instead of showing a piece of the chapter 4 everyone is waiting for.

Based on this you didn't play it then despite it being freely available here, did you? Because if you did, it would be quite clear that this is important to the story.

If you have played it and can't see the pretty obvious plot threads laced throughout, well, then that's on you.

That’s on me then, sorry for not seeing anything valuable to the main story, must be my head, it’s been hit too many times, right? ; )

I played this game a long, long time ago and remember that Astrid gives you a choice pretty early on, to be the top or the bottom.

Is it possible to switch with her so that you can get a nice mix of futa on male and male on futa and possibly avoid the domination aspects if there are any? At least the femdom?

I can't help it if you can't pick up on things that are gonna be important or not. Short of just having the narrator scream "THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT WILL HAVE PLOT IMPLICATIONS LATER, THIS CHARACTER IS IMPORTANT, WHAT OCCURRED HERE IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT, THIS ITEM IS IMPORTANT, etc." but I figured that would be too on the nose. I mean, the Zilv stuff was barely even masked in anything approaching "this is just a story he's telling." Like, when I put the lamp in the game, do you think that's just a frivolous thing too? Or the Sultan's murder? Do you think that I could possibly be setting up plots that payoff later? When you watch a movie, do you expect them to resolve the entire plot within the first five minutes? All I can say is "you'll see" and you won't find that satisfying, but I'm not spoiling the entire narrative.

Interesting.
I was sure all stories (specially Zilv and Astrid's) had elements of truth in them because of the merchant figure. Even in Kadijah's story she was there playing the servant.

But i suppose Kadijah being a shitty storyteller goes in line with her shitty plans. :LOL:

I replayed the game, still good and funny, even if too much narrator stuff at time. Began the special, played one of the mini story only. On the one hand, does not seem to add much, or really be related to the main story, some background on the characters' past maybe.
BUT:
1. It was posted here, thus it's a gift, and a horsey can bite, when you inspect it's teeth.
2. One could focus on the dude, working on the game again, instead of whining. I mean, he is, obviously, even if in a lateral, convoluted way.
3. We might get a Christmas special in spring, a saint valentin's one, in summer, and a proper new chapter, some times in the future...
Let's hope...
