Hey guys, just wanted to take a quick moment, as usual, to fill you in on where I’m at with my work.
Right now, I’m finishing up the script, which has been the toughest part so far. After that, I’ll need to code the text and wrap up one of the branches/routes. Once that’s done, I’ll start putting together the scenes and rendering the images. I'm hoping to prepare some sneak peeks soon
I’m doing my best to keep the pace up, though this work can be pretty draining at times. But when there's motivation, results follow.Thanks so much for your support!
P.S. I’ve also gathered some info on a few bugs and issues in the current updates. I’m confident I can fix them without too much trouble to improve the quality of the game.

And I agree, the "plot" of Pineapple Express was ridiculous, but it was still a very enjoyable VN and I played every path and ending I could manage...lol

Well he's not a complete stranger; he's an old friend of MC's dad that he hasn't seen in 10 years, so there's that "friendly" connection but the porn logic tries to excuse that by using the fragile financial situation of the two MC's as a foundation to drive the plot forward. It works for me. I've seen way lamer plot points used in other VN's.

(I ultimately agree with you, and think more realistic writing could benefit games like this. Perhaps she initially comes with him but then has some legitimate reason to return)

IRL people don't make decisions based on logic and reasoning. They make decisions on the basis of emotions and feelings. It's psychology 101. That's why, rather than highlighting the specific merits of the product, advertising tries to make you feel good.
It's really a shame that Dimajio's games are often misunderstood, and I'm not going to say here that Dimajio has a penetrating vision of the true nature of human beings. But I do find that he sometimes shows an outstanding insight of human beings in his games, which goes beyond what the average reader here can understand.
So let me characterise his works in one sentence.
It's the journey of a couple of cuckolds, who don't know they are cuckolds, on their way to the discovery of their true nature.

The most misunderstood thing about Dimajio's MCs is that people keep confusing them with themselves. Dimajio's MCs are cuckolds, they will make different decisions than you, and that's what they desire.
All you have to do is let Jasmine kiss you the first time and make sure you say "Pineapple Express" every time Cornell gets too close to Julia. You don't have to cheat throughout (unless you want to).

You have to maintain a certain level of corruption. It's easier if the MC cheats first but not necessary. After a certain while, you need to start accusing the wife of being unfaithful when she isn't and she'll cheat.

Just replayed with the cheating path (never knew there was one, so very neat), but the big downer at the end there was that Julia doesn't end up pregnant & moves in with Cordell. It's kinda wack that she can get pregnant if you personally hide the condoms that one time (in the cuck/sharing path), but here she has unprotected sex with Cordell on her own (cheating path) and still no consequences....

Like it was obvious from start, that Cornel want another "panties in his collection" only and no real GF/wife thing. If you see any girl as your potential future wife and mother of your kids, you not let your friend to fuck her, like Cornel did.
Stealing GF/wife for future deep relationship is more Japanese thing. In western ones the GF/wife is usually degraded to whore for black antagonists, which they use whenever they want, but they see her only as slut, nothing more. Maybe this one "Exploring the Big Apple" will satisfy your tastes, due this "Oh, my wife died few years ago" antagonist pose, which I personally totally hate, because it's nothing more, but psychical blackmailing of LI.

I was more talking about how the logic is inversed in Pineapple Express: Julia can only get pregnant if you are a cuck/sharing her with your best friend - and hide the condoms that one time. But, if Julia is cheating on you, she gets creampied several times on her own volition and... nothing happens. You would expect one of the endings to be that Julia leaves you for Cornell once she finds out she is pregnant with his kid.
