On a monday morning get in to the aunts car, And once you reach the new location you'll find the pass there, infact you can't leave to new location before you get it..

Now tried with new game and for me it works fine.
Also checked the code, and this is the code:

So as you can see characters allowed. The only thing I can imagine that your caps lock is on, or you press shift, cause capital letters won't work.
