is anyone else having trouble with saves, i started the new update where i last finished but none of my progress is saved
As commented on by another in this thread, there is a big difference between reporting a bug to the developer and the types of complains being seen in this thread (and others) about the fact that bugs exist.What's amusing about bug reports? Because that's exactly what these "complaints" are. Without them, a programmer would not be able to remove the bugs. Of couse, some more proper coding would help. For example a programmer could take into consideration that a via update newly added variable has no value so far in older saves and then initialize it with a default value...

Seems to me that when you save the game, all the previous saves will then suddenly have all the items you have procured up to the most recent point in the game. Very buggy.
it happened to me in th elast 2 updates the saves are there but like he said none of my progress is saved

If the previous saves updated to match the last save, then they would all be the same and there would be no use in having old saves. Previous saves are just that - saves at previous points in the game in case you want to go back to that point in the game.

it is what happened to my save. you could go outside but no further. new start, no problems since
