You might want to try the software mode version and not the GPU mode. GPU has trouble on some AMD cards, and the way vectors are rendered in Harman AIR can sometimes have issues on gpu mode.

My games, every aspect of my games, even playing them, are supposed to only be accessible via my website or via Patreon (via the $5 paid tier or more).

You had over 130 requests to my website using an account that never subscribed to my Patreon. It's sitting at the top, it's very visible to me.

You didn't 'spring the booby trap'. I just set the account to unverified until I could work out if the user was subscribed or not. If you really like the game, you can subscribe to me once and I can clear the unverified...

But you are also welcome to just do what MrChow96 said to play for free, you just can't do the online stuff.

EDIT: Game doesn't softlock or ban anyone anymore so it's not applicable

Nothing on the developer's official page says that it is prohibited to remove the phone numbers of special fairies, and fairies made by other players, from their official page. I haven't seen anything where it says what you can't do, and what you can do. On the contrary, I read several parts where players were encouraged to copy the fairy numbers from the official website and add them to their phone lists. I never read anything about these bans!

The numbers of the special fairies and fairies made by players, which are on the official website, are available for anyone to copy and paste into their private game, and nothing says that it is prohibited. Therefore, I did nothing illegal, as I was not warned otherwise. I think it's unfair, and if it was prohibited, they would put up a warning, and remove the fairies' phone numbers from the developer's website, and share this as premium content among paying players, on private access pages! I understand that this type of game have to have premium content for paying players, im not against that. Developers needs to make money, to further developt the project and paying the bills.

However, this content is on a public website and accessible by anyone. And a person like me, oblivious to this, ends up having this terrible experience! How can I want to support the developer, after this drop in trust?
I feel betrayed, and it's a shame because I had hopes of this game being an easy top 10 after a few additional updates. I've been playing these types of games since 2013, and I've played thousands of games (between 2000 and 2500) in these 10 years using flash, renpy, unity, unreal, godot and other game engines, I know most of these games, completed or being developed, and I don't remember anything about something wrapped like that!

At least they put warnings on what a free player can or cannot do. I also had ideas to share about this game, from what I've seen in these types of games, but I'm too disappointed. This paints a very bad picture, in my opinion.

You'll probably never get a reply from him. And believe me, others also have the exact same problem as you do, unless they spent money on his Patreon at least once. He knew exactly what he's doing - people would never expect to be banned from a porn flash game, yet here we are.

By the way, ever wondered why you can't get Shantae, Glaceon, etc. at random? Because their parts are blacklisted from auto-generation in the code, aside some bits of their clothes and mouth parts.

Everything in his pile of AS3 code reeks of greed and pride. What's really scummy and why it rubbed me the wrong way - he took the classic flash game concept and injected it with "modern" DRM bullshit. He wanted to milk this game forever, he already planned a crapton of "events" with paywalled characters for years to come, of course he'll never let anyone get them for free!

Think about it, he wanted to enlarge his e-peenor by banning all the "filthy pirates". From a flash game. With paywalled. Copyrighted. Characters. And brag about it here, of all places.

Just wait until the real corporate owners catch the wind of their characters being turned into a third-party developer's highly advertised selling point and a paid DLC - hilarity will ensue, too bad it'll be the sad finale for everyone who liked the game.

Green screen of death? Like blue screen of death but green? No, I don't have a green screen of death.
All drivers are updated. Although I don’t know what kind of engine it is and what drivers it needs. There is an Adobe AIR folder there, maybe I need to install it?

I am sorry, I have tried to help you best as I could. A green screen background indicates you could have a technical issue on your end, whether that be outdated drivers, overheating, or lack of power. I have researched a green screen appearing for games, and that is what I got from it. Google states that it could be a graphics card issue, if that is true, that can be quite serious, and should be attended to immediately. I am sorry if the information that I have provided is not helpful, just trying to figure out what problem you are having. Last resort, if you are unable to update your drivers, you might have to consider getting a new computer.

I thought the game was a public released version, as some creators do 2 versions of the game, the public release and the patreon one. Somtimes creators even share the Patreon version when they are about to update a newPatreon version, then they put the old in public.

You can come here and indeed ill give you 2 or 3 items for free. You have to travel to Portugal. Only dont exit with the liquors... Regards.

I feel like this is derailing into hate / attack level of conversation now. Not sure what you mean by silenced.

Sure there's a few things in the code that could be in lists instead of repeated, some of it has carried on since my first as3 game. I'm guessing you're talking about the save file code.

But it's just me developing it, using functional code instead of objects is actually quite fast for me. A lot of the newer code I thought works quite well. as3 is also transpiled so you're probably seeing as3's partially compressed code, instead of my actual .as3 files.

I feel like i'm doomed if I reply, or doomed if I just leave this going. Not sure what to do. I just wanted to make a fun game for my supporters where people could share their fairies on my website.

Honestly, as someone who pirates any kind of game, I know I am pathetic, but I am also broke af, and I'm just trying to play games (albeit 18+ ones, rather than some popular games from places like steam).

I understand your reasons for adding pirate prevention to online features, and am completely fine with it.

Dawn, sadly I can't support it.
My payment not big and all payment functions blocked (outside my country).
Still cool idea for a game and sharing function.
Continue develop it and extend it.
Would like to see how it would progress

My only complaint so far is that there is only the one voice type, granted the actress is still great imo. Since all the fairies have voice type A atm you get repeat lines, I had a green, wingless fairy ask if I thought her wings were cute, which was funny I'll admit. The poor thing must be in denial. I hope future updates will add new voice types, maybe even another VA for those types. Other than that I like the game. Great job Beachside, you have delivered another great game, I only wish I could actually support you.

nah just checked their page either redirects to the patreon post of the game or it tells you you need to be a patreon for 5 bucks. i mean even the startup screen tells you if you got it anywhere else than his website or patreon it's pirated
