It looks like some file might have been corrupted somehow. EOF is a special character that let know a reader program that the file it is reading is finished. It happears that the games, while running, reaches the EOF of some file in an unexpected moment. Or that some file was supposed to be read until a certain point and, instead, it has been read to the very end of it, abnormally.
My best shot: download the game again or uncompress the archive again, if you still have it, and copy the save files in the new game folder.

edit: it was a corrupted save. i had to use an older save sadly

That would be "VX Ace", you just need to look at the icon for the game and the file structure of it

I am also at the point where the labyrinth is sealed off. I have 8 levels unlocked, and yet to proceed to the 9th. Is that a requirement at all?
Edit: I also have 4 spare wedding rings, one each for the other sub-heroines
Edit 2: Upon backreading it was mentioned that YOU NEED TO RECRUIT THE FIFTH GIRL AS WELL FOR THE FINAL UPGRADE, I was just following the guide, and it didn't mention that I needed the 5th girl.
EDIT 3: I am a retard and I forgot that you had to go to the place where you obtained the permit to build your house to marry.... Oof

Question, how do I get pristina? I can't seem to get her depsite already at time rewind. As of now I am 10 in game days into the game.
Also what is the side quest "Sealing off the dungeon"? Is it is the "Clearing the dungeon" or is it different?
I apparently still have 2 girls and are married to them, already at time rewind and is somehow managing. I just want the other 3 exclude the last girl.

You need to meet Pristina at the market, then at the guild office, if i recall well, then in her bedroom at the inn. And be at the right quest point. The up hill dungeon from the land on sale is just to be cleared to the final boss, then it seals itself, if i don't recall bad. Anyway it was pretty linear, nothing puzzleish to do.
Same issues here. Literally can't get anything other than a black screen. Running the game from a command line terminal usually offers some insight in the form of error messages, but nothing of the sort happens here either.
This is the first time I've encountered an RPG Maker game that flat out refuses to run on WINE.
