How management is the management? Is there talk about tavern economics after the long war? or just simple- "upgrade the table to fit more chairs" dealio?

The story is somewhat just "A former mercernary now decides to open a tavern".There isn't a specific deadline that you have to reach, but you do get taxed from your revenue after each day though (Goddamn capitalism)

I don't think you can really "lose" since you're always making a profit. Your rank increase based on how much you earn, so the fun part is maximizing your profit. Upgrading your tavern does provide a flat increase, but you will need enough cash to invest in it.
But the in-depth part is the cooking. By combining ingredients that marry with each other well, choosing and stacking the bonuses of the final food and adjusting your menu, you can make a pretty penny. You only need ingredient to make the initial recipe, not to serve it in your tavern. But as the game progress, your gain access to better ingredient, which allow you to revise your menu to make always more money. Ingredients can be bought, obviously, but also foraged or fished.
So not much management, but it is very fun to mix and match and try to obtain the best boosts for the bests profits.

Translation is quite good. Not perfect, true, but you can tell it's a real human who did it and not an AI.

The current version is indeed very bugged. Fishing is broken and most H-scene don't display any options or display them incorrectly. Sometimes changing the resolution solve things, but not always. But the cooking and tavern management part works flawlessly. Same with all the other interactions/activity with the exception of fishing and H-scenes.
=> I found the version 1.0.1. I will check if it improves things.

EDIT : Nope, fishing and H-scenes are still broken in 1.0.1
