To be honest, they have right to angry, not just about how Project Helius betrayed their original promise with change of plan and all other bullshit, but also the online model they want to do. No one want to pay for a sex game which using server hosting online method and potentially lose not only the money but also the game when the server go dead, and for a patreon developers i doubt they can keep the server for long without heavy microtransaction, that mean if you guys want to keep the game alive, then you guys should "donate" more and more money to them each months so they can keep server up for you guys to masturbate
Well worded and precise. Standing ovation.
I'll add something else. Since there is absolutely no customization in the game, then all this monotony of poses will bother them very quickly and they will not live long without seasonal updates and additions.

This is why we have "likes" system, in order to unlock new pose you need to collect "likes", if you collect enough "likes" you can unlock new pose, question is, how many days/weeks you need to play to unlock new pose. I guessing one "like" per day, 30 "likes" to unlock pose, this gives you one month of grinding.

LMAO IF I NEED TO JERK OFF FOR A MONTH TO SOMETHING I DON'T WANT TO SEE THEY CAN TAKE THEIR GAME AND SHOVE IT UP THEIR ARSE
seriously, who the fuck would be bothered to do that? there's no way it's going to be "balanced" like that and if it will, I'll feel bad for all the people that donated to them

Me. There's basically no good porn GAMES around. If I just want to wank and go do something else there's better options. It's about time we get a real game out.

Double paywall, SFW version will be on Steam, which is story mode and gameplay mode.
Meeting the $36 requirement gets you both NSFW and SFW so this is not double paywalled.

If i'm remember correctly, the gameplay and story part is kind of tabletop game. Harem mode will be the NSFW part, which to be direct, the Sex part, you need to buy it via Patreon or whatever platform i don't know, like some kind of upgrade DLC
No, that is incorrect. It's two applications. Think of it as a 2 for 1 for people that already met the $36 requirement. They have not announced the final product(s) cost.

Yes, people have a right to feel how they want. Unless they have been a previous or current patron, it doesn't matter, because they didnt contribute. I am pretty sure that 95% of the people in this thread never were patrons, even if they claim they were. Very few people here even leak private Discord updates and most people vent their dissatisfaction that they can no longer steal the product. Honestly, the harem mode is a good solution to the piracy issue they faced.

You say that when there are so many people playing MMOs knowing that one day they will go offline and the game will cease to exist? The resource requirements for Paralogue are so small, it wouldn't be expensive for them to host that on a simple AWS EC2. Steam and/or DL Site is going to be hosting the application distribution cost. If the current multiplayer host decided to start charging them, it wont be much. If it turns out to be so, they can setup the server on an EC2 and just change the DNS entry to another IP and no one will really notice the change. It's not hard to code a simple multiplayer server for an app like this and it wouldn't be resource heavy, or expensive to manage.

The most stupid conclusion. This game has been bought from me since when it cost $ 24. Then, when I got tired of fighting with the patreon (for some reason he blocked the account when trying to change the tariff or trying to unsubscribe), I did not unblock it anymore. The key to the game was also left there, but all subsequent non-cracked versions worked for me. I then decided that I don't care about the money spent and if I buy something in the steam again.
But after more than half a year and constant fairy tales of this clown, I regret the money that I spent then and actually there can be no more talk about any purchase (even if it will be sold for $ 1 at a discount).

Yes, I know you're Russian/Ukrainian and $24 is a lot. But you also did not care to resolve the issue. You were asking for a crack well before Harem mode was a thing, which is what really upset people (harem mode) here. Personally, I am very happy with the way things are going, despite I sometimes get disappointed that I need to continue to wait. But I prefer this path of development and I'll continue to support it, even if sometimes I really want to cancel because I'm not thrilled that CBT will be a 6 month process.

1. MMO is free to play so your comparison won't work
2. This is porn game, no one want to buy it, but force to play it online with constant internet connect and then need to prepare their mind when the server is about to shutdown. Comparing this game to an actual MMO game with actual gameplay, feature and mechanic is a joke on itself; well seriously compare this game to Illusion game is already a joke
3. Not expansive???? lmao, they are not even a huge company, and they still need money and resource, which come from you guys wallet through microtransaction. But what they can make for you guy to play, some outfit, some more pose, and more creature, more character???, i doubt those thing can keep player interesting in the game for a long time, and when player are not interest anymore, PH will lost money sources, which in turn can destroy the game server -> the game is unplayable.

Like i said before, this is a sex game, no one bother to play online for a long time, sex game is a martusbate game, so it should be offline so when people want to relieve themself they can comeback and play the game. They can buy it, and it stay there, can play again whenever they want, not an online game which lost when the server is down

At the risk of being deleted (again), I have to ask:

Can any of you offer a synopsis of this "game" as it exists today? Or a synopsis of what is proposed for the future? A premise, backstory, suggested strategy or tactics, an objective (win, lose or draw)?

The OP says, rather vaguely, "As implied by the title, Operation Lovecraft takes its inspiration from the science fiction universe created by H. P. Lovecraft."

The spoiler under "Genre" lists the following:

"3d game, ahegao, anal sex, animated, bestiality, big tits, creampie, footjob, handjob, lesbian, male domination, monster, multiple penetration, oral sex, rape, sci-fi, sex toys, tentacles, titfuck, vaginal sex, virtual reality, voiced, vore"

I see no mention of war, conquest, D&D, romance, economic simulation, civilzation building, life simulation, hero quests, etc. Just sex.

Is there a doc or readme, a link to anything related to actual gameplay, real or proposed?

This demo consist solely of interactive animations of sex with a variety of aliens, machines, and I think, a human male. Are these women captive breeders of the aliens? Are the aliens being studied by humans for their sexual proficience? There is no dialogue, no text explanations of why any entity is there.

Is there any content here that will appeal to my forebrain, or just masturbation for my hind brain?

Perhaps I have a different viewpoint than others, but that is my definition of a game. I don't see it here.
synopsis is bunch of sluts get their holes filled ruthlessly by monsters/android/animals

1. I don't know why you decided that $24 is a lot for me.
2. There is no question of much/little. The question here is that this game with such an approach is not worthy of a minimum.
3. The Harem mode does not suit me personally because of the very fact that it will be necessary to play with someone. After all, this kind of game is something "personal".
4. The point that has already been said a lot and more than once - the words and timing of this developer do not converge with the case, despite the fact that they receive money in a timely manner.

Quick note from dev:

We have received numerous accusations from Chinese players after the teaser was released. It's weird that I have to make this official but please note that we take no responsibility for malware infection caused by installing a pirated copy.

Ya I want to know about that copy too.

this game going to take another 7 years

...Nor are we responsible for deletion of Patreon accounts. We brought this issue to Patreon, and it turned out that most of disabled accounts were auto banned for making fraudulent pledges via third party recharging service on Taobao, which pays with stolen credit card info.

I assume it's only Chinese players because F95 is blocked by the Great Firewall. I won't get political, but VPNs are a great invention.
