This is why we have "likes" system, in order to unlock new pose you need to collect "likes", if you collect enough "likes" you can unlock new pose, question is, how many days/weeks you need to play to unlock new pose. I guessing one "like" per day, 30 "likes" to unlock pose, this gives you one month of grinding.

The resource requirements for Paralogue are so small, it wouldn't be expensive for them to host that on a simple AWS EC2. Steam and/or DL Site is going to be hosting the application distribution cost. If the current multiplayer host decided to start charging them, it wont be much. If it turns out to be so, they can setup the server on an EC2 and just change the DNS entry to another IP and no one will really notice the change. It's not hard to code a simple multiplayer server for an app like this and it wouldn't be resource heavy, or expensive to manage.
The most stupid conclusion. This game has been bought from me since when it cost $ 24. Then, when I got tired of fighting with the patreon (for some reason he blocked the account when trying to change the tariff or trying to unsubscribe), I did not unblock it anymore. The key to the game was also left there, but all subsequent non-cracked versions worked for me. I then decided that I don't care about the money spent and if I buy something in the steam again.
