...Nor are we responsible for deletion of Patreon accounts. We brought this issue to Patreon, and it turned out that most of disabled accounts were auto banned for making fraudulent pledges via third party recharging service on Taobao, which pays with stolen credit card info.

You say that when there are so many people playing MMOs knowing that one day they will go offline and the game will cease to exist? The resource requirements for Paralogue are so small, it wouldn't be expensive for them to host that on a simple AWS EC2. Steam and/or DL Site is going to be hosting the application distribution cost. If the current multiplayer host decided to start charging them, it wont be much. If it turns out to be so, they can setup the server on an EC2 and just change the DNS entry to another IP and no one will really notice the change. It's not hard to code a simple multiplayer server for an app like this and it wouldn't be resource heavy, or expensive to manage.

No one want to pay for a sex game which using server hosting online method and potentially lose not only the money but also the game when the server go dead, and for a patreon developers i doubt they can keep the server for long without heavy microtransaction, that mean if you guys want to keep the game alive, then you guys should "donate" more and more money to them each months so they can keep server up for you guys to masturbate

As you can see, Nguyen mentioned that no one wants to pay for something that can vanish if it's not funded. That's exactly what causes MMOs to go under.

Also, I did NOT say MMO RPG. Paralogue is going to operate in the same fashion. There will be instances where several players will be playing out sex scenes in rooms. That is massively multiplayer online. This is not a typical role playing game. Depending on how you want to look at things, are you the monster or Erica?

Yes, I agree with you 100%. A lot of people upgraded and it was a huge influx of money. Steam use to allow devs to generate as many keys as they want but I guess that changed. I'm too lazy to look into it right now.

The partners doc about keys hasn't changed much since 2017 aside from advertising new features. It makes suggestions about how many keys you should request but doesn't put a limit on them.

at this point I'm not even doubting that they will release the CBT as planned and give out those 50k keys or whatever the number was, but I'm simply sad about this instead.
This could've been great and now it's shaping up to be great graphically, but shit otherwise..I just hope I'll be proven wrong but for now I'm fully negativistic about the whole thing

You are partially incorrect. The team that did the motion capture work was based on Colorado. Due to covid, the mocap work was shut down and a company in Japan offered to do the mocap work in exchange for the company hosting the multiplayer server for stress testing their infrastructure. Yeah, kinda sounds like BS but myself nor anyone here can refute that. So building out a multiplayer only mode is their way of DRM and a benefit to their finances since if someone wants to see the gameplay, they need a license or they'll need to go to pornhub or somewhere else.

from what footage I've seen, it doesn't even look like they added any new scenes for the CBT so even if we can't get it right now, it's not like we're missing anything. For now it looks like 0.34 is the same as CBT except you don't need to unlock shit before seeing it...
