Yeah, 100%. Miya is pretty bad for this, they just kinda float ideas they've suggested to Helius with no confirmation from him.

Like I'm 99% certain that gallery is gonna be scrapped since that's the last we heard from PH himself, but Miya keeps floating the idea of tying it into the online mode somehow so now I'm stuck parroting that until we get confirmation one way or another just so that I'm covering my bases on being up to date.

You are completely right about them having poor communication within the team, like how any of the mods will tell you Galatea is not a loli if you ask them, but Helius has outright stated she is and her origin is from a poll for a loli character.

Yep... Miya have even said multiple times Miya doesn't get full responses from Helius, nor is even informed to most if any of the game development plans.
And just as you said PH has said the gallery mode is to be scrapped...

And when did PH even say the game was going to be free to play other than after the Harem mode was released? I don't recall anything about it being free to play before, yet now its going to be free to play.
And we don't even know if we will get campaign or if we will have to pay for it as well.
Because none of their "pins" messages even talk about it which the mods so eagerly points to all the time

And seeing as we're right on schedule for that early access part of the post and he did in fact go free to play like was suggested to him, I'd assume it's safe to say MTX are coming whether or not backers or the mods want them.

Well they kinda already do /did - by being a patron you would get limited outfits for the characters each month - to be delivered in EA.

It is obvious they are aiming to max out profits. Like there is no customization because they wanna be selling characters. Face/body textures, eyes, eyebrows , makeup even hairstyle do not interact with animations. Those should be customizable but you get nothing of that.
When asked if they will support modding he answered "We will move to UE5 and with dynamic clothing modding is basically impossible" . Like lol because modders won't be able to figure out dynamic clothing ? Not to mention all the mods that has nothing to do with clothing. You don't want to support modding because why allow mods to change the hair styles for example when you can sell the hairstyles later down the line?

According to most discord users the "likes" we get for being a patreon is not microtransactions! Even though we are paying for it, its a "GIFT!"

I don't fully remember. Probably no too long before that image above. June/july/august maybe? I haven't checked if I'm banned on Patreon or not since no point logging back in.

Which is hilarious because at the point the game was totally already made into a free to play gatcha. A good example of how the mods say whatever to appease users, regardless of whats made. That date is only like a week before beta launch.

To addon they have all but abanoned the steam forum, they have no updated information there not even a moderator is on there helping or answering questions, they haven't even seperated the forum up in different languages so its all a mixed bag of threads.

Which will sink this turd faster than the predatory MTX mechanics. Successful f2p games have a well-oiled content pipeline that is constantly introducing new stuff to grind towards.

But even that isn't the main problem of this trainwreck. The "gameplay" loop is nonexistent. There is no gameplay. They're basically expecting people to mindlessly loop the same animations over and over and over again so they can... loop even more animations again and again and again? People just want to fap, and once they've rubbed one off in 10/20/30 minutes they'll just log off and go do something more productive with their time.

Hell, what's stopping people from just going to XVideos and the like and just watching one of the new animations? No need to pay or grind or even log into the game, and you're pretty much not missing anything of importance.

If someone wanted to be an even bigger dick about it they could record the same animation with all the available costumes and call it a day.

Yeah agreed, and the active moderators and staff, essentially attack anyone who doesn't believe the info that the staff and moderators on the discord gives out, even though its not info from Helius himself so it can be entirely false and useless. And if you point that out one to many times its a ban for you even though they want everyone to use their discord for support and if someone new comes into discord asking a question most users and moderators will be like "CHECK THE PINS GOD YOUR FUCKING RETARDED!?!?!" depending on their mood, instead of answering the questions or actually putting up a real FAQ, on Steam, patreon and discord

They already said MTX are coming, just in ways they think they can skirt around calling them MTX. Add tons of grind then have patreon monies, early season pass purchases, and paid character packs boost your progress. Technically not the same way other games sell MTX since you're not buying them directly from an ingame store, which is how they're trying to spin it as not being MTX, but you're still paying real money to skip the grind.

Such a System is very complex very complex i repeat very complex to make it flawless or at least near flawless but it is bullshit that it isn't modable it can be but this is again very complex.

Nothing of this is Project Helius target and they will never reach it anyways.

They´re other Chinese Projects that made it their target but their success is yet limited alike, CyberRomance mentioned here very limited pretty much close to fail as well.

If you don't have your own Engine R&D forget it to get a stable System neither by 3rd Parties

This is only something Tencent could pull of currently.


Most of the Chinese efforts here are failing they are very good in Microtransaction and DRM Systems but the rest

Currently Project Helius only runs around behind EPIC/TENCENT

Holy shit, Helius definitely took the Nutaku money. Him and the team went from "No way, we'd never do free to play gatcha" to releasing this free to play gatcha beta test in just a handful on months. And he never even mentioned it lol.
