Yep I assume using the paid currency is exactly what he did. Capitalist gives you enough green bucks to max approximately one BP fully and half of another. If you throw around $250 at Helius, you can max them all, what a deal. It still probably does not give you enough gacha rolls to unlock all animations, even if there is only 40 per girl now ; if I remember correctly, 0.4.9 had more per girl than 40, also for whatever reason the removed anims were (imo) the better looking ones.

So, there are videos of the update and I was just wondering: How the fuck are the animations so horribly bad now? Is it because of server desync or wtf?
I don't understand why the game is still not normally available for purchase on steam, I suspect it's about making as much money as possible and access to steam is just a demo ^^ and probably nothing more, the game has close beta 2 now if I'm not mistaken and there are battlepasses in the porn game XD rude addition of costumes buy now or you will lose something for solo game

I have no idea, but the quality is definitely getting worse with each update. Not only are the new animations mostly meh, but many of them are clearly unfinished too, with lots of clipping, or some variations not working at all. Does not help that they keep removing the older and better looking anims (maybe intentionally so the new ones don't look that bad?)

Might be that they're keeping some animations aside for further monetization down the line otherwise it wouldn't make much sense to remove the better ones. They also seemed to have reduced the quality of their models, presumably as part of their optimization work, which is insane given that it's basically the only thing this project had going for it.
Na mate, it all makes perfect sense. Don't you remember? Helius said he wants to get this ported over to mobile pretty soon, so of course the overall quality has to get downgraded. He's gotta keep taking it in steps though, otherwise people will flip out. Gotta do it slowly otherwise the patreons will notice.
I doubt they intend on porting this to mobile, it would mean selling it as an APK or via unofficial stores and it would necessitate a complete redesign of the UI and likely a new framework. Something that they don't seem to be able to do even on PC which is a much more forgiving platform to develop for it in terms of design constraints.
Helius might have mentioned plans for mobile at some point but it's probably in the same vein as him talking about a standalone SFW campaign, combat mode, cloud streaming etc. It's either a wild fantasy on his part or nonsense he's spouting to make it sound like the project has more going on in the background than it really does. If they had a big enough or competent enough team to realize that sort of stuff we wouldn't have the current build looking like it does.
