I’m a $295 tier backer for Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll (now on $25/month, nearing my third payment) and spend ~30 minutes daily on quests, collecting resources. The gradual progress toward 100% research for all seven girls, all outfits, and affection level 5+ (aiming to finish in three months) is a small daily joy. I’m at 50% character research and own most paid items. Big mistake: I rushed to spend heavily on experiments early on, which wasn’t necessary—they’re easier to unlock through daily tasks than I thought. Sticking to mandatory purchases could’ve saved me at least $100, though it’d take 1-2 extra months to complete my collection. Customization is solid—hair color, pubic hair color and toggle, womb tattoo on/off. Animations are top-notch with fluids, sweat, and belly deformation, covering tons of fetishes, but it’s mainly a sex scene viewer, not a full game. No pregnancy mechanics. As a content creator, I respect the devs’ effort and support them. My advice: start with a lower tier and use time to make up for it. Weekly progress is capped, so the earlier you start, the sooner you’ll complete it. It doesn’t take much daily time to stay on track. If the cost feels steep, consider waiting for updates.

This guy shows up at least once a month just to remind everyone that he spent over $300 on this "game", and he's been doing it for three months straight now.

It's honestly amusing to see posts like that popping up on a piracy forum of all places. Do people really not realize this isn't Reddit?

I get the humor, but I’m just here to cheer on anyone considering supporting the devs legally. Have your fun—I don’t expect you to change your mind anytime soon. But who knows, maybe others will gradually see things differently.

It is really easy for Scamlius and Co to hire someone (not necessary by money) to write posts to show "positive" response for their scam and getting new "clients".

Keep in mind a lot of us did support this dev legally, this forum isn't just pirates. We just aren't as happy with the lack of development progress and aggressive monetisation as you seem to be.

Honestly, its either they finish and polish the game to gold standard and I could then maybe, maybe see myself buying it OR I just wait until it gets cracked or not. Seems like it does have promise but its just that. A promise.

what he also fails to mention is that all new content that gets added will also be locked behind a paywall and / or grindwall and that's how these games make most money. You think "I'll just spend this tiny bit" and over like 2 years that turns into a massive sum of money. I guarantee this guy will spend another $300 within the next 2 years or so.

I wanted to delete the game but it keep saying this: View attachment 4915211
Can someone pls help me with it? Already restarted pc but didnt work...
That's really odd. Didn't have this issue myself. Have you tried ending the task from task manager first?
I can move the game just fine (which would also throw that message if I did have the same issue that you do)

if you don't mind me asking -- what is the best way (if there even is one) for someone to progress in the game, while avoiding all but the most minimal interaction with the actual gameplay systems? i'm disappointed that i bought a game that is 99% paywalled, but on top of that the gameplay is worse than boring; i would rather sit in a chair in an empty room than stare at bars representing simultaneous orgasms or whatever.

i'm willing to do like 5-10 min of effort, or log in to collect stuff, but other than that is this game just a wash for me beyond the gallery? from my (cursory) research, even glacially slow passive progress is pretty labor-intensive, needing 10-20 min of effort per day

If you want to min/max:
Log in every day, claim the log in bonus.
Every three days do all three of the daily tasks, advance the battlepass.
Every week clear out the insights + data fragments + experiments in the shop.

If you want the minimum like what I do:
Log in once a week, do the three daily tasks, claim the log in bonus, clear out the shop, advance the battlepass.

You miss out on a bunch of insights this way but you also save time.
You can do the daily tasks in the private maps without people for the most part unless you get a "get ideas from poledancing/drink x times at the bar" task.
And you can reroll one annoying daily task once a day afaik if you want to log in everyday.

well i didn't read the whole 800 pages. nor don't know if the game is a scam. but i can say for sure that animations are some if not the most time consuming process in game developping. especially if they are made from scratch like porn anims.
This been said, to know if the 35$ asked are justified, i guess i would have to buy the thing. but for now i'm still investigating that scam thing. plus if i pay 35$ for a porn game, i need to be sure that it features stuff like creampie, pregnancy, and pubic hair customization first

bestiality is not forbidden by law here where i live. it's left to the judge appreciation. shortly only if the animal appears to have been forced it's considered as a crime. if the judge thinks he/she hasn't, then it's not considered as a crime. Which doesn'r apply to games. lot of steam games features animals. at least i know a very popular one where the heroin is impregnated by dogs, or zombie dogs. I don't think personnally that valve gives a f..k about bestiality
what was this game trying to do in the first place, what have they done in all this time, have they fulfilled their promises? It seems to me that they just keep making repetitive content (clothes, new characters, etc.) on the same framework, and never really give another framework.

as mentioned earlier, the wishlist for this game on Steam exceeds 1 million. assuming that 100K people are willing to pay, this is a huge fortune(36$*100K). but why not release it quickly, or continue closed testing and insist on the subscription mechanism? this is not in line with business interests at all.

from what i understand this is a lone dev, that started the thing years ago as a hobby. if so this is a learning dev. And yes it takes years to understand and master all the video games making system. for hiring more devs you need to have an idea of how the industry works. the process can take years. i'm talking of at least 3/4 years probably more. there are numerous aspects one needs to master before releasing a video game. UI, animations, audio, lightning, baking, coding, bug fix, optimization, law confirmity.. if the guy is alone i'm not surprised at all than after 4 years (apparently?) the thing is still slow paced. The error the dev made maybe, it's that he/she entered the commercial phase before mastering the video game making process. this could be a possibility.? star citizen made that error apparently too. they promised the moon while the lead developper wasn't actually a developper. he promised things he had no clue if it could be done technically or not. but this another subject

What an incredible load of nonsense. Keep making excuses for scammers, I'm sure that'll really help make the world a better place.
