Depending on the installation method, I unzipped the file after downloading it, but overwriting does not appear. Is there any workaround for this?

Simply googling "Operation Lovecraft Fallen Doll" and go to their official website. Their website clearly says on their website "claim Steam key." But unfortunately, after you click that, a message prompt will pop up saying that you must be logged in for patron.
This is the only way I know of officially of how to get a key for the game, there could be other ways, I am just trying to help anyway I can, but to be honest though, this game is more of a scam and just a quick way for Project Helius developers to leech money out of patron contributors.

This "game" is now a PVP gotcha P2W card game with an online only multiplayer gallery viewer with broken VR.
It will never finish, they set it up so that all they have to do(once the main system is created) is slowly add cosmetic updates.
Which I already proved were being "purchased" from asset sites and are only being imported on a basic level.
This is a glorified cell phone time based game with a cash shop.
You have to donate an ACCUMULATED amount of $36+ through Patreon(either all at once, or per month until it adds up to that) before the button on their website works and you get a key. Sometimes it can take hours to days before the option works.
Except for the "gallery" aspect, which is why we are all here..

I have really given up hope on this game, and after what you told me about how the game is now, I am thinking that there really is no hope at all for this game anymore. They turned this game into a cell phone time based game? Wow, the creators really lost their creativity.

fucking hell.... after letting it cooked for years and finally returning hoping to see a new update i see this shit? Goodness, my fellow brother in arms, thy patience is most worthy. how long has it been since the last update honestly? i was like 1 week in when the 0.49 ver dropped.

There was never hope to begin with, at least for anyone smart enough to research a bit before throwing away their money.
Then again, most people don't bother with that, specially if under the horny. And then they forget their pledges, which probably is a sizeable chunk of ScamLies income.

Did the character assets been ported over to somewhere else? They are, arguably, one of the few good things about this mess, so it would be good to have them. I couldn't find anything for VaM.
Anybody have a spare 500$ to throw at EMPRESS?
