The game does look excessively dark tho since 0.8~ update.
idk if that's a UE5 thing or just poor implementation or just what Helius is going for. I haven't messed around with the settings too much but I bet you can change it somewhere(be it within the game or within your gpu settings app)

I think someone else mentioned that too, I would care to assume that this is not the last time they mess with these settings. So I would expect things to change, quite drastically.

Another character, more re-used scenes from the last version. The lesbian scenes that Juzi has were all scenes that USED to be in the game, but were removed, only to be added back and called "new content"

That's not even what bothers me the most, though. What bothers me the most is that Helius has gone out of his way to make the game EVEN MORE GRINDY. He significantly upped the cost of synthesizing experiments, while getting duplicates from packs give you markedly less.

And the worst part about it? He actually claims on his Discord that the game is LESS grindy now! Which is an outright, unabashed, shameless LIE

At this point I think he's just trying to test the waters to see how much he can get away with. And the answer is, quite a bit, since the cocksuckers over on the Scamlius Discord say things like "oh, it's his game, he can do what he likes!"

It's a goddamn shame this entire scam has so many enablers. This is why we can't have anything nice in this world

60fps @ medium settings with 2060 And this happens in what I am guessing is a very small area/map? Lmao, that card probably runs much more demanding open world games like rdr 2 @ more than 60fps. Absolute incompetency of porn game "developers" never stops surprising me.

You don't have any reason to upgrade unless you want to use every graphics setting at maximum for every game.
Also amd is bringing frame generation to rtx 2000-3000 cards with fsr3 so newer games are still going to perform well

Yeah, but can your 2060 handle the great twin peaks of Anya and their 2 billion poly? What if Anya is cloned and the great mountain range of Mt. Anye appears before your visible display? More poly in a single peak than the entire combined Resident Evil franchise. Will your 2060 gasp for its final breath?

To be fair, Elden Ring looks like dog shit and Resident Evil 4 Remake intentionally looks dated by design. RD2 is especially dated looking, too. However, I agree your 2060 probably has some life in it yet as long as you don't expect to unrealistically run games at max settings.

This game's big issue is actually CPU bottleneck and it seems Helius has no fucking clue how to optimize it at this point but can't be bothered to bring in someone to help.
