What i wanna know is it worthwhile of me spending 35 bucks, do i get more NEP currency overtime or am i forced to pay $$$ just to get more characters and skins in the future. I've noticed some youtubers/streamers that are showcasing the updates are getting free NEP money, idk if its because they paid real money before hand or its like that "here's some free gems because we updated the game" thing.
The only way to find out for ourselves is to subscribe (NEP money). As per the Steam update log, updates have had long intervals, example, after Oct 2024, we got an update in Jan 2025.

Steam:

Honestly, I'm gonna wait until the game becomes available on Steam (to answer your $35/- purchase question). I'm not yet comfortable paying yet. If the game was in early access on Steam, sure, would've paid immediately. Guess, I need that extra bit of "security" (Steam). :ROFLMAO:

All gacha games give fake currency from time to time. But the thing is they give you so little you have to save a lot or pay real money for more fake currency. And that's one of the many reasons why I hate gacha games.

Yeah, as much as I would like to indulge myself into this game especially for its initial premise(that combat stuff) combined with its adult contents, updates are so slow and for $35 you ain't getting much but another sex simulator. Granted the characters looks good. At least you aren't exactly pulling characters from a banner like its a gambling system, I would have dropped this game from my radar if that sh*t was the case.

I hate gachas too or at least the monetization structure of it (forcing players to pay $$$ to pull characters within the event time and advance your progression like NIKKE or Genshin) but there are only a couple i've kept playing till now because of how generous the reward and grind system is that you don't really need to pay money for new content other than just investing time, Azur Lane is for sure one of em.

as a 3d group bestiality, rape and bestial rape simulator its pretty good

ill be shocked faceless if anything even close to a real game involving combat or strategy ever comes out of this project

expect a new similar looking white girl every six or so months and having to pay 20 bux to see her walk around and collect sex crimes for her

Been a backer since pre-steam launch for the longest time, the level of incompetence got so boring I got tired of even following the Discord. It's sad because the few people who cared about it, like the mods team and Discord staff - were unceremoniously dumped by Helius on a whim last year (edit: actually, 2023, even worse. Basically all of 2024 I followed a zombie project passingly and tried to see how much I could push people away from the game without getting B&'d). Since then, I knew the game was done for. I played it every now and then as long as my benefits as prerelease pledge went, then the moment I saw Helius wanted more money from me I called it quits.

For the record DLSS hasn't been fixed in I think 2 years at this point

I just removed it from my Steam list and left the Discord. Don't waste time on this the development pace and transparency is so abysmal it's just going to be forgotten slowly. Their current step to make a quick buck is to release 3d models made in 2021 as "new outfits" for paid money. It's just a scam.

The game is never going to be made available on Steam because it would mean PH has to be made accountable for their business model. I fully recommend everyone to report the game to Steam as they're exploiting the closed beta function to use Steam as a platform but then use Patreon for currency, avoiding Steam and all its sanity checks in the middle.

After all this time nothing but discord "moderators" getting fired has opened your eyes? I know this is going to be rough but I sincerely think you get what you deserve.

"Made accountable for business model"? You know they doubled their patron member count with this model amid all those controversy right? I don't even doubt for a second that they will make bank once the game launches on Steam no matter the user reviews.

I don't think you understand what he meant. Helius is abusing a bunch of technicalities and loopholes in Steam's license agreement to host their game on Steam and monetize it off-site without giving a Valve a cut.

Monetizing off-site is never a problem to Valve, there are an ocean of crowdfunded games out there offering backers only beta and key resellers selling keys and redeem codes without giving Steam a cut. As long as the game is to be launched as F2P like displayed on Steam Helius is safe, as the key will have 0 value. The problem is that nobody knows when the game will launch.

They aren't just selling standard keys that will give you access on release though, they're selling virtual currency and release state override keys. The latter practice at the very least is .

I agree with you that Valve won't do anything as they selectively enforce their own rules, I suspect on the logic that it's a pain to enforce and they'd rather have a subset of devs freeloading than drive any to competing stores, but I definitely think that they should enforce rules like this. As well as others like their false marketing requirements which extend to third-party sites.

At the moment Valve essentially let devs do an end run around those restrictive terms, so long as they don't actually release on steam, and more than a few devs (mostly hailing from Patreon) are definitely starting to abuse it.

The devs said on discord that the patrons won't need another key after beta ends, which means the keys they distributed are most likely standard keys instead of override keys.

The only two types of key that can be generated for a product that is not publicly released are release state override and playtest keys, if you grant them standard keys the product will not be unlocked until is publicly released on Steam. This is mentioned in the documentation I linked above.

The devs are however not bullshitting about not needing another key once it is release (if it is released), given that they are going F2P. You literally cannot even generate keys for F2P games.

The closed beta is a separate game.

Or the main page is the parent? I assume it's part of the loophole.

Well, there actually is a way to generate keys for F2P games - but it requires reaching out to steam via submission of a ticket. Often times, they'll just turn it down citing that the product is available for free, via the store so it's best for players to find it organically.

Makes no difference, neither the game nor that related package have been released on Steam so a standard steam key will not grant access. Only playtest and release override keys will work.

It's not really a loophole as such. It's obviously against the terms of the distribution agreement to sell those keys and Valve just don't enforce it.

Makes sense, I guess that's for devs that want users to install the game via adding the key? As you say though I can't imagine Valve actually giving keys for that over just pointing users at the store page.
