Hi everyone,
I’m considering buying one of the higher Patreon tiers ($95 to $295) for Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll. I have a few questions and would really appreciate your insights:
Any advice or experiences with these tiers would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
- If I buy one of these tiers, will I get the full version of the game right away, or is it just beta access? Does the $295 tier guarantee the complete game when it officially releases?
- Is there an official download link for the game (beta or otherwise) after pledging, or how does it work?
- I’ve tried contacting the developers, but their Discord seems to require a Patreon pledge to even join. Has anyone managed to reach them without being a patron?
- I only want to pay for one month and then cancel my subscription. Will I still keep access to the game (or Steam key) after canceling, or do they require an ongoing subscription?
- Honestly, their lack of transparency and communication is making me a bit skeptical. Has anyone else felt this way, or am I overthinking it?
I'm guess not many people have access to the scenes considering how much grinding they require, for a startlol honestly at this point, I'm surprised those who have "bought" the game haven't just been posting gallery/ sex scenes of the characters in various outfits and such as a side hustle or for the hell of it.
For me, it's just whatever. If they make a 6th one, cool. If it's actually good and gets community interested enough for proper mod support? Perfect. If it's bad and it's over for Bethesda? No problem, back to Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind.I lost faith in Bethesda for years.
Most people will disagree with me but I hope there won't be another TES game, at least make by them.
My brother in christ let me introduce you to Virt-A-Mate (VaM)if someone would be disappointed or interested in games with good scenes, then below I have a few links for you (unfortunately most of them are 2d games), but I think that we should focus on them, where the creators look at your opinion, than on this game. The more we talk about it, the better for the creator, so I suggest throwing it into the ether of oblivion. And below the announced links to games with good gameplay, maybe not known to everyone

As long as its on Creation Engine the modding community can fix it anyway.I lost faith in Bethesda for years.

Sure it might not be plug and play, it might not look all that good nor does it have the perfect physics but what it has is a giant collection of looks and whatever scene you want once you get used to it. It will take some time to learn but it's worth it. It's basically like HoneySelects Studio mode but more blender like 3d look.
Fuck these greedy developers, it's been years since i looked at this thread and this fucker is still advertising the same model that was supposed to come out years ago.
If they keep giving us sketchy, half-baked games and relying on modders to fix them. People will lose interest very quickly. As long as its on Creation Engine the modding community can fix it anyway.
Well, this "game" has one gigantic problem: Learning how to use it is a nightmare, and the common tutorials are about very specific things, not the basics. Like everyone said "install plugins that make it easier to use the UI" - Cool, but I couldn't even find information anywhere about where to put these fucking plugins and how to activate themVaM

I gave up on this after realizing I need dozens of mods just to be able to use one modded character. What were they(characters) called, atoms? It didn't make sense, it still doesn't.My brother in christ let me introduce you to Virt-A-Mate (VaM)
