So I like the game enough to consider "buying" it but still have some questions about how stuff works, anyone who is a legit payed member can help me out?
What is the actual progression in game like? From watching gameplay I can surmise that you unlock experiments (scenes) by doing gameplay, but what about "investigator passes", and (most importantly for me given that I really like playing dress up games lmao) the clothes for the characters? Can you earn clothing through gameplay or is it only premium currency? Can you get specific clothes that you want or is it rng gambling and you get random clothes?
Also if I do want to support the game is there anything stopping me from paying for 1 month of the highest tier and just cancelling afterwards? Same goes for any tier, does patreon somehow gate you from rewards unless you have been subscribed for X months or something? I'm generally not a fan of recurring payments so I'd rather just make a one time purchase.

You must pay the $300 membership fee to access the beta and download everything, according to the Patreon page. They have various rates depending on the user. The cheapest membership fee is $36. It's a tremendous scam.

And yes you can just support once at whatever tier gets you enough for the game and then cancel. If you hate money you can spend more ofc, all it gets you is premium currency to unlock more premium passes, buttplugs, gacha currency, etc.

I don't quite understand how you can unlock experiments with characters in the free pass if you can't unlock the character unless you get the paid pass. I presume you unlock the experiments for viewing in the gallery mode but you can't use the character as an avatar in the walking around multiplayer harem mode?
Can you say how many NEP a new character costs to buy? If it's something low like 10 USD equivalent then maybe??? But given how ridiculous the rest of the game is structured and how expensive some of the patreon tiers are I have a really bad feeling that a new character might cost like 35 or even 70 USD; if that's the case then I'm definitely less excited

When people were saying that this game is a scam I was naive to think that they might be wrong. They almost at 16k monthly backers as far as I can tell. A lewd game with an actual budget made in a good engine instead of some unity engine stuff with 1 character model and 4 animations? I got really excited. Now I am concerned that they have no incentive to release the game or indeed to ever finish it. Correct me if im wrong but it seems like they would make more money just pushing out patreon slop like new premium characters and outfits for infinite time until either, they got bored and do something else or the backers get sick of 20 year dev cycle and move on; either way, game stagnates and dies eventually without ever getting fucking released.
I don't remember unlocking animations for characters I didn't have access to last time I played but you definitely can't use animations for characters you don't have, excluding perhaps the ones that include that character and one you do have unlocked (I don't think there are many of these). Either you don't get their animations in the stupid gacha things they have or you can't use them if you unlock them, although I can't remember which unfortunately.
And regarding your last comment I wouldn't worry too much about it. It is a pity this game didn't stick to its original premise but there are quite a few other projects now that target higher end systems, and pretty much all of them are further along in development than FD.
What are these projects if you don't mind me asking? I don't exactly keep up with the latest in lewd game news :/
I know of a number of 3D games like the magic shop one and the holy knight rika or something like that, I know about honey select but I was never quite able to get into it and I don't think it was as high quality as this game.
I would really love a triple A quality lewd game with dev support and lots of content.
Viewing them is done in the harem mode but there is a single player room now where most of the scenes work. Gallery mode hasn't been updated in a very long time and probably won't either. Unlocking the character indeed allows you to walk around as them and until recently expel the semen they had stored inside (inflated belly). There's two ways to unlock experients if you don't have the character. Either use the 4 free rolls (two for xeno and two for human only) from the weekly shop and get lucky, or buy them with data fragments which you get from rolling dupes. But data fragments take a very long time to farm.
The amount of NEP I've recieved in the mail to buy a pass was 150. I think the exchange rate for NEP is 8 for one USD but I'm not sure, the patreon or this thread probably has that info somewhere.Can you say how many NEP a new character costs to buy? You get them from getting duplicates from the gacha, it used to be a decent amount but now it's like 2 for a low tier dupe so it takes a while. You can get them without using the NEP, just the daily insight stuff and you can get 5 data fragments per week from the shop with likes.
Why change a winning formula? Unless something happens to their cashflow they'd be silly to change it. I remember their slogan on patreon used to be something like: "We make money to make games, not games to make money." Funny how that turned out...
You can use animations for characters you don't have, you don't need to have them as your avatar to use them. It is however almost impossible to get new ones for that character outside of the ones you got from the basic battle pass. Data fragments take a very long time to farm and the weekly rolls from the shop are completely random.
You probably won't find any AAA quality adult games. Arguably it's not a small market but established studios simply won't work on them due to the associated reputational risk, and investors are not going to bankroll smaller studios for the sort of sums they'd need to scale up given the risks that entails.
You can however find projects that are aiming for OK graphical fidelity and animation quality in a modern engine, they'll just generally be a little smaller in scale or lacking in polish.
Off the top of my head there's currently Wild Life, Carnal Instinct, Home Together, Under the Witch and Our Apartment. These are in various stages of development and Under the Witch is the only one that is complete, although they're all making reasonable progress compared to FD I personally still wouldn't recommend buying into them before they're finished it's worth keeping an eye on them.
Does that mean it works with animations you "borrow" from other players? I can't remember what the mechanic is called, the thing where you look at an animation another player is playing and can acquire it temporarily. I can remember only being able to select animations for my current character in the actual map, is this feature something they added to that new gallery mode or did they just change it?
Although tbh it might be a moot point me asking - even if they added that I don't think it's enough to make it worth downloading the game again just to suffer through that ridiculous grind.
I have this Beta Harem account over a year playing it, mate, sooooo boooring as shit. When Juzi came out, was so so, Talon was f$%+*&g worst
I didn't know it was that restrictive before, I think I started playing the steam version about a year ago and you could just place experiments without needing to have bought the premium pass for the character. It also works for those temporary experiments you get by studying it from another player. I think that used to be a limit of 1 before but now you can borrow a few at a time. They still expire after 24h though.
Speaking of the new gallery mode, I haven't touched that and I don't think the dev has either.
Hey ! I'm not really up to date for this thread. Does anyone have any clear explanation to why this game has no recent cracked version ?

I am convinced they don't lock this thread because they're trying to go for a guiness world record for dumbest thread of all time. In fact, the longer I spend in this thread, I feel my IQ drop a point or three.
Btw according to their patreon 1 USD gets converted to 8 NEP just like you said. So assuming that a character costs 150 NEP and there are no other shenanigans, a new character should cost 18.75 USD worth of patreon support. I can't easily tell what the USD pledges are because it automatically converts it to my local currency, but I think the 36 dollar/month and above tier comes with one "investigator expansion pass" also. I'm guessing that pledging that amount will get you one expansion pass every month? I wonder how many new characters they release per year?
Their higher tiers seem like a massive upsell btw. At 100 USD you get 6 passes plus 5 characters worth of NEP. I found a twitter post from them March 19th 2025 saying "Juzi's sister Yanshi is coming to #OperationLovecraft this year as the 9th playable character." Are there even 11 new characters in the game? At 300 USD you get all the current and future characters and costumes which is a hilarious amount of money to risk on a game that could be shoved under the rug a year from now
Btw I'm assuming the 3 characters in the old demo are free and the rest are unlocked with passes? Or did they make you chose 1 starting character and unlock the rest :/
I read the past few pages and the TL;DR is they are using Denuvo DRM which requires a server connection as well. Even if you did crack the DRM you would need to write some sort of server emulator to even play the game since it is basically a live service gacha game with daily missions and stamina bars and stuff lmao.

this is my idea of hell. gacha live service with daily missions just so u can goon. imagine having to do chores just to goon and then your goon session is cut short because u have to wait until tomorrow for your stamina to recharge. actual garbage
