The arguments themselves aren't pointless, it's up to the reader to decide whether to engage with them or dismiss them. I could post something as complex and impactful as a full guide on cracking Denuvo, but for 99.99% of people here, it would be meaningless. They wouldn't understand a thing, so it might as well not exist. But I'm not posting anything as complex as that, am I? Even a 5 year old can undersand what I'm saying, all the reader has to do is... not act on their impulse. That's it.

It might even have inspired the spammers in the thread to hack the game - learn programming languages, debuggers, disassemblers, network structure, and... release their game on Patreon and demand money for it, and never release it.

TBH It never affected me THAT much since I can play other things instead but If, say, I was a supporter before all the bullshit I would've definitely unsubbed after he made those terrible decisions. Online only DRM + Gacha + Denuvo? At least i think it has denuvo? fuck no, pass.

I didn't count the number of new characters or animations, but there are quite a few compared to the last build that was uploaded here. There's also a few maps. I won't deny the game started progressing a bit, there's a decent amount of 'content' now. My issue with this game is how you access the content. I personally have no interest in participating in the multiplayer mechanics, gacha-esque mechanics, daily login tasks, and all the extra shit that has no purpose in porn to obtain new animations, characters, and outfits. And since Harem mode is dead and you have no other means to unlock content, even in the singleplayer mode, you're forced into doing all of that. For someone that doesn't mind those things, this game is probably appealing. For others that aren't, or old supporters that bought the game before it went this direction, well now you understand the hate lol.

And yep, it does have Denuvo now, also all player progress is server-side. It was added in the build that came after 0.49. Before that it just had Easy Anti Cheat. So for those of you still hoping for a crack, it is extremely unlikely, and when this game eventually dies it won't be accessible anymore. Like Anthem for example.

As an additional bonus one of the main reasons I originally bought this game was that it was one of the few good looking games that supported VR. Now the VR support is basically broken and Helius has said it won't be maintained moving forwards, after bitching that he had to work on it all. I tried it recently and the characters were just jittering all over the place to the point where it was unplayable.

I just meant there's a decent amount compared to build 0.49, what's uploaded here. Fallen Doll is still nowhere near what Helius claimed it would be. There's still no combat mode or campaign, if that's even still planned to be a thing. Pre-alpha Illusion game is a pretty accurate description. I forgot the girls are part of packs and you'll have to buy them as DLC/season passes or something after a certain point lol. IIRC Galatea was the last free girl?

Oh, I get your point, but I've stopped bothering to point out the flaws. Those who already understand, do. And those who don't? I'm not about to explain it for the millionth time, not after hundreds of posts have already broken down what's wrong with this game and its developer. It's pointless. Almost no one reads, and everyone just acts on impulse... which is ironically fitting for an adult game forum.

Could you explain to me why it would be wrong to support this developer? The valid reasons I can find are the following:

-First, there's no current open beta (even if it has less content) to test the game's mechanics. (The beta on Steam is old.)

-Second, I have to pay on Patreon to get a closed beta on Steam (I honestly don't trust it at all). Also, with what's happening with Steam right now, nothing gives me credibility anymore (visa/mastercard drama).

-Third, and in reference to the previous point: Why can't I buy the closed beta as Early Access on Steam? (same or higher price. It's suspicious.) (He could sell the beta for 40 like EA on Steam. Why doesn't he do that? Why is it hidden on Patreon?)

-Fourth, little information. Apparently, buying the beta for $35-$36 only gives you access to the game. But do you have to pay for the characters separately? (I don't know, and no one could give me a clear answer.)

-Fifth, in reference to the previous point: I was reading what the different Patreon memberships offer, but it doesn't explain what things are clearly. It assumes that the buyer already knows how the game works. Which brings me back to the fact that the beta is old and doesn't match the current game, so how it works is a mystery.

-Sixth. More misinformation. I read somewhere that the game works like a mobile game. One of those with energy that requires you to wait a day to be able to do more things (a classic gacha game).

In short, it's not a lot of money to try it once and then cancel the subscription. But I have the feeling I'm being scammed, maybe I'm just paranoid.
Sorry for the wall of text, but I'd be interested in your perspective. This is what I've observed based on my experiences and my limited knowledge of this game.
