In the beginning the story seemed to be good, but when we arrive in the part where the police is arresting the mother for whatever reason and nobody protests, the story totally lost any credibility.
Ok the dev wanted to really start the crap after a long prologue where not much happens, i get it but it seemed so forced and over the top that i just stopped to play.
Does the writing get any better later or is it always the same unreal situation in a totally fucked up town where the law and regulations don't exist at all?
Is this happening in some banana republic where citizens are some kind of slaves or morons?

No offense, but this particular subject has been beaten to death in this thread.

1. Please find me a game on this site in which some degree of "suspension of disbelief" is not required.
2. Unlike me, you clearly did not grow up in the southern part of the US in the 1960's, when police violated people's rights, in full view of the public, with impunity.

I will grant that some elements of that scene are a bit overboard - even JohnCBB, who was the author at that time, later had some regrets over it, but it is what it is.

But, if it's not for you, thank you for visiting, and feel free to head back to your more believable "superpowers," "magic potions," and "every woman in sight drops their drawers for the MC in the blink of an eye" games.

With all due respect, that's a pretty cruel comment, and is far from the truth.

However, if you really can bang out 263 images and six animations in a week, please PM me - I'll be happy to stick to writing, turn all the rendering over to you, and we'll crank out a new episode every month.

Better not look at any other VN out there if they're looking for realism! LMAO. Heck, this game is tame compared so some of the craziness I have seen out there. But that's why it's fiction.

Of course, the cops did get arrested for what they did in the last installment, so it's not all that unrealistic.

Sometimes im confused to see people hate much about this kinda story and genre.
just because we do mass shooting in gta v doesnt mean we actually Psychopath in real life

In a good story you get immersed in that Story/plot/characters {you in there world} For some I guess they forget that and think its real {they bring it into TRW} Just enjoy the story!!!

With all due respect, speaking as the dev, I think the comment was valid. This isn't a game - there aren't options. So the idea of the dev adds some tweaks to it to avoid NTR makes no sense whatsoever, even as a "wish." It's completely incompatible with what the project is. Basically, you're wishing apples were oranges.

Sorry if that comment bothers you, but it's just the way it is.
