Have you not heard of any of the shit Nintendo does?

They go after literally anything using their IP, including porn games. You're lucky if you only get off with a C&D. If anyone tries to pull the fair use card, or tries to fight back in any way, they'll take you to court, and they WILL win, no matter what.

Even if you have a solid argument, they'll appeal and appeal to keep the legal battle going as long as possible until you're financially incapable of fighting anymore, so you'd have no choice but to settle things in their favor. If the judge actually does rule in their favor, they'll make an example out of you by suing your entire bloodline into destitution for however long it exists.

Any big company can do this, especially Fox. They have more funds and lawyers than any average joe could ever hope to have, and they WILL bring them out if you try to defy them.

The fact that this guy is not only using the characters and setting, but is straight up using the actual name of the series in the title of the game puts them right in Fox's crosshairs. If they come knocking, you should just cut your losses and move on.

Not only is he using the name, setting and the characters, visually it's imperceptible from the TV-series. It's so good that you could probably send screenshots of it to Kotaku and they'd think it's the official Family Guy game which means it has the potential to cause tangible damage to the image of the series and just the possibility of that will come with lawyery hellfire unseen by any coomer ever before.
Only thing that could save the dev from being doomed to an oubliette is if he renames the game, swaps the family being followed to some other before unseen family (like a spinoff) and prays to all the deities every night.

You may have your Windows Security settings on way too high. I have a premuim antivirus and Windows Security set to detect potentially malicious file content and didn't even ring any bells when I scanned the compressed file or the extracted folder. Check your settings and then try the download again. (Assuming you're still interested.)

I was thinking the same as far as renaming the game. The worst way to get your parody flagged for litigation is to name it the exact same as the original series... with exact same lettering, exact same characters and art, etc, etc. Not a bad idea, just a little too close to the original. I've seen other games based on other series' but many of those used their own art and sometimes a play on the original name, in order to kick it into the free use category.

Pshhhhhhh all these haters out here..... People dun be slumpin on meg, her unattractiveness is the hot part. Very excited to play this game, downloaded a program to run on mac specifically for this (and maybe pokemon ecchi as well), (and maybe like every other good game) (I'm slow with the times) (and stubborn). Keep makin meg stuff, and maybe some lois stuff too! lois > meg, but like meg is creative.

I can't speak for everyone, but my problem is not if Meg is unattractive or not(I love her nerdy look), my problem is playing as her instead of Chris. I think all the characters should look exactly as is, the dev made a fantastic job on replicate that.

The ideal male mc protag is Chris if this is an incest game so he can go after both Meg and Lois as well as other girls from his school (friends, students, teachers) etc. Maybe you don't like that, that's fine, and maybe it's cliched, but gotta be honest, that's a pretty winning formula and a lot of the most popular incest games here follow that exact route. What makes it unique in this case is the parody of Family Guy, which is popular. And if you look at the rule 34 of family guy a lot of people are looking for exactly what's described above.

No, i dont think incest scenes are better than even peter/quag, dont even want compare it with meg with everyone else. There is also much more famous male characters than girl ones. And it easier to plot it like insexsity was

To any dev out there: If you stray from the usual control scheme, where you move with WASD and interact with either Space, E or F, then you should include that somewhere. I have yet to find a way to change clothes.

You can make everything look the same as long as it is clear at the outset that this is a parody, and not a product produced by the people with the license. If there is any confusion on that point then you will be in trouble.

How about this for a concept?.

You control meg first for a day interacting with various characters throughout the day
When the day ends you wake up as Chris and replay that day as Chris but any interactions with meg for example are locked in except possibly his responses.
The next day Peter, Lois, Brian and Stewie ect. After the last family character the next day begins and the process restarts.

Each full day could be a chapter of the story.

well, that is an idea to exploit. but to be honest, i would had rather believe playing as Peter would had made it more interresting. or even Quidmire. there would definitively have some action with Quadmire. but Peter could have much more twisted event. it would not had been the first time Incest in mentioned by him.

I have no problem with Meg as a playable character. I do, however, have a problem with the only option once starting the game is to [Esc] > Quit.

Hmmm Futurama could be good but the problem is you’re kinda limited in terms of female characters. But I think it’s doable you just gotta scrape the bottom of the barrel and use all of the obscure characters. You got leela, Amy and Hermes’ wife, then one off characters like the bureaucrat lady, the lady that couldn’t smell who dated zoidberg, the crab lady that Zoidberg wanted to mate with, various sexy robots, SnuSnu ladies, news lady, mermaid that fry dates, fry’s grandma that he bangs, police chief lady…

From what I see, it looks like he didn't make any art for the background. He just straight up took it from the actual IP. Also using the name of the show is a big no no. Stealing assets & thinking it is okay to do it is also a big no no. You should make your own art.
