Maybe try the Universal Choice Descriptor mod...it works well by showing most of the hidden info behind story choices (points, and other data). Also URM will do the same, but the tool needs to be expanded to view the hidden data on screen (Top right hand corner).
But the URM tool has more features, like it displays random requirement checks that happen through out the story (displays if the next scene meets scene requirements (looks for points or previous choices made) to display the content. URM can also be used to edit Ren'Py titles using keys ALT m together, which displays the tool's search function.
Here are both tools together. Install: Just expand and merge game folders together.

Don't get me wrong this is a great game. But I do feel sorry for people paying for it. Updates like these are not it.
You can't with a straight face think something small like this is worth being called an update.
I have no idea what the devs been doing since the last update, but he's not been working on the game for more than a day or 2 that's for sure. People have every right to complain about it. Even if they are speaking to the void.
Everyone here is a potential paying customer, updates like these will convert exactly 0 of us in to being a paying customer.
Sure the majority come here because they can't or wont pay for porn games.
To be fair do you blame them for not updating after the game was abandoned for 3 years... I honestly missed last update and thought this game was gone. That URM mod works pretty well as far as I can tell (I used it for about an hour on this game). Personalized multi mods usually work a little better but the universal one gives point values when needed and that should get you through most games, it did for this one.

here are my unofficial Android ports of Family Matters v0.12
from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Edit: I take it back. It includes everything. It for some reason wouldn't open the RPA properly. I had to extract it before it would work.

Just started replaying this game from the start - anyone know if using this mod will work for the first 10 chapters and the just not work for more recent chapters or will it bork the game once chapter 10 ends? What about using a modded save through the end of chapter 10 on an unmodded game (to play chapter 11+)?

It's just safer to assume that a save made with a mod installed will not work once the mod is removed

Huh? It works fine from the get go after extracting the zip. And yes, you need to extract game from the zip/rar for them to work correctly.
No, it's outdated, someone updated that mod to episode 11, but that is outdated obviously now to.

It's important to laugh a little ! I'm certainly teasing a lot, but I do feel a certain pity, especially towards those poor guys who are still financing this game.
