I have a same problem on Linux. I assume there is missing font for it.
Please tell which font is used on mobile phones in game so I can install it manually.

The font isn't missing, it's black with a thick black outline and that makes it hard to read. The fact the outline and the font are the same color makes it so you only see the outline.

likely the developer changed some settings in how the outline on the font is, and it needs a patch to just tone it down a bit, i would say next update hopefully they can fix it, doubt there is anything we can do to fix it on our end without fiddling with some files.
