To confirm, I downloaded the Windows version from workupload, but it did not ask me for a password to extract it.
Just want to say it's a shame and It would be nice if he hands the faplife game over to the modding community if he has no plans to continue with it. It's got some really nice assets to it. I'm not a fan of the monster stuff or the futa stuff but there are very few good porn games out there with this standard of animation and models. A game with that Alyx model getting fucked by a variety of characters in a variety of positions would be great. If I had his talents I would make the game myself. Clearly he makes this stuff for himself and isn't too concerned about pleasing his patrons which I respect but can't say I'm thrilled about. Hopefully there will be an option to add the Alyx skin to the Alice character. Would make sense to do that to throw the fans of the game a bone.
I think he already shares his game with other game devolopers at 15 dollar tier on his patreon but idk if he means just his animations or the game as well... in both cases even he shares his game with developers it will take another 3 months just for the begining
its not a easy job the game sector is it? How do you come to the conclustion that the Dev don´t want to continue the Game, just because he didn´t postet anything on Patreon and you didn´t hear from him since April? And how do you know he isn´t to concerned about his Patreons and making this only for himself? As far as I know, nowhere on his Patreon site is anything mentiont that, if you want to support him on Patreon, you Support this Game or if sertend Goals are reached he will hire someone for faster develempont or something like this. He says on his Patreon site only " I'm creating high quality adult parody content using Blender and other 3D programs : o " and nothing more, so I don´t see any opligation to his Patreons.
There are Patreons who have there sites for a Game they Develope but his site is not like this, he his like a Street Artist who you support with giving him some Money so he can create his Art, you support the Artist.
It looks like he is a single Artist who is creating a whole Game by himself, big Companys like EA, Ubisoft, Valve, Blizzard and so on, takes years, a lot of People and Money to Create and Develope a Game. You say it you´re self that there are "very few good porn games out there with this standard of animation and models" so I don´t see how giving the Game to a Modding Community is helpful, which Modding Community would be taking it, the Half-Life, Arma, DayZ, Fallout or Skyrim Modding Communtiy, if there is a Modding Community for this and if someone would take it who says it will have the same Qualitiy in the end?
Correct me If I'm wrong but was there not a post from him stating that he's not making a video game with the Half Life theme and he's developing a game right now with a different female character and theme all together? Someone quoted his post on this forum. I don't really want to dig it up again but I'm sure you can find it. I feel like your attacking me for suggesting that the artist allow other animators and game developers to work on what he's built if he's not planning on developing the game further and adding new animations and characters. Why? What would he have to lose? It's freeware already. Cry of fear was a mod of half life 1 and it was a great game. The devs added in new models animations and all kinds of things. Sometimes you get great game when you let others build on your work and sometimes you get crap. Just depends who's working on it. I stand by what I said though. He has patrons and fans who like his game and want to see updates to the animations and models and from what I've heard he's doing what he wants and working on a different game entirely. I would love to be wrong and told he's working on some tasty updates for Faplife so If you want to throw some contrasting information my way I'll be thankful to hear it.
I also want to state that this is not any attack on the Dev what so ever. I'm not entitled to have my perfect porn game made by him just for me. I'm not saying that at all, especially since I'm not going to fund it. I'm just expressing the fact we saw a passion project that had the potential to become something I would really like to play. I absolutely understand the Dev's decision to make the kinds of games he wants to make.

That's what Patreon has always been. You don't pay to get a certain product out of it, you pay to support the artist. I don't know why you bring this up as if it's somehow a special case here.

Although someone earlier in this thread said they had joined the Discord and Likkezg didn't know what they were talking about when they asked about the game. So who knows whether this game is still in development or not at this point.
I would classify it as a different game personalty if that quote did come from the dev. I mean yes of course it's going to have sex in it and his flavor but if it's no longer a Halflife parody featuring Alyx then it's kind of a different game isn't it? How many changes have to be made to a game for someone to consider it different to the alpha version? A different character and different theme are big changes in my opinion. Wish I could ask him personally because there seems to be a lot of Chinese whispers going on. I guess he must like to keep a low profile.

I was just being facetious for the most part as well as seriously disliking the guys decision for abandoning the HL theme for the game as well as the issue of him being into anal only.

If you want to look at it another way, the way it was put when asked in Discord about the decision to move away from the HL franchise was because he wants to create his own content. Some of the already used assets will be kept in, such as the variant of Alyx model he's put some work into, so it won't be completely divorced from HL's universe, but it will allow him to make a more original game than simply a parody of HL.

Isn't it a bitch when you see a game developer and animator that has amazing talent but just the strangest tastes? Makes some really tasty looking female models with great animations and only wants to make stuff involving robots, monsters and girls with penis's. Fetish's are absolutely fine by me but I hope he includes some vanilla stuff for us normal folk in the game. The Futa porn market seems to be larger than we might expect though. There's a lot of dudes out there in internet land that want to get deep dicked by a traps apparently.

Come on now. If I felt entitled I would contact him personally and tell him to make a video game just for me. There's nothing wrong with pointing out what you like in someones work and what you don't like. Everyone here knows I'm not shaming the dev. I'm sorry buddy but dicks on women and sex with monsters and robots is an acquired taste. I never shamed you or anyone for enjoying it. I simply pointed out that it's an acquired taste. I have some acquired tastes myself but traps aren't one of them.
It happens a lot with shadman but shit, even if he makes a weird/dumb shit i still enjoy those works.
Hope u discover a nice artist wich makes vanila stuff btw.
