Yeah, more than one AV trigger and some of these personally accounts is actually concerning. Sorry guys, I don't want to point fingers and am not suggesting anything or accusing anyone of anything, but I feel sorta responsible as the one who uploaded the game so here's whatever context I can add. I can confirm the base game itself is fine, nothing unusual no red flags, nothing flagged by virus total or bit defender, nothing opening even when left idle, no extra processes, etc, so it's probably not something accidental on the dev's end.

Just for due diligence I also scanned the cracked game (I own it so I played with the official version) with Bitdefender and it found nothing, for whatever that's worth. Cracks are infamously known to cause false positives so it's genuinely hard to say that's not the case, but my main concern is that I haven't seen something like this crop up with other cracked playdrm games in my experience.

Just wanted to put that out even though I'm not sure there's a good way to be certain. Also, if someone else wants to have a try at the crack and compare efforts, I am willing to provide them my key too, feel free to PM me.
Quick Question, as you have the paid game. My english text gets cut off in most scenes is. Is there something I did wrong or is the legit version the same?

I have the solution for thous who the Game.exe got deleted. You need to make an exclusion for Windows Defender, here is how:

1. Adding a File/Folder Exception (Exclusion)
This stops Windows Defender from scanning specific items, useful for trusted apps or large files that trigger false positives.
  1. Open (search for it in the Start Menu).
  2. Go to Virus & threat protection > Manage settings.
  3. Scroll to Exclusions and click Add or remove exclusions.
You can select a folder and extract the file there.

(And sorry for the grammar mistakes :)
You...

Thank you so much, you rock, you solved it. I love you.

Any word on translation? The UI is still in Japanese, English Text is cut off, and anything with the Translator is just a blank text box.

Art is incredible... I mean... I literally found my pfp in there....

From what i'm experiencing and seeing in the thread, the trojan is a false positive linked to a DRM removal workaround that's a bit complicated ?
I've had zero issues so far, will update abt that in a couple of days.

Translation is still quite messy tho. It seems the original paying version is properly translated ? (see above thread).
Maybe a better downloadable version will come up soon.

Here is an explanation of the virus.

for your info, this game have a DRM. i found something in page 65 of a other game that use DRM too "succubus affection", here what he explain for the other game ( 4 comment )

1)
so the game contains a virus?

2)
no, False positive, the game have DRM, then need a crack to bypass the DRM, this has been discussed here several times before, as well as ALWAYS a game has DRM and needs a crack... mai@kf dll( = only the file name cracked of succubus ) is part of the crack, used in many other games like Succubus Slot to break the DRM...

in other words, whenever a game has DRM, to play it for free, you will have to have a CRACK to break the DRM, and a crack 99.9% of the time will be it considered a virus, After all, it bypasses the DRM security system

3)
(oh, that makes sense.. I'm sorry, just got worried.)

then.... this is mainly for the game correct???
since it seems to crack through the setup process m guessing...

so.. will ONLY do the Cracking for only the game..?

I'm just curious before I try something... since if it only will be programmed to bypass DRM... might download it.
i just didn't want this Mai to dig through any other files on my laptop.

4)
Before you try to use it on other games, I'm like 90% sure it only works on this one. Each different game has to have a different crack, even if it's the same type of DRM, so far as I remember.

Was a entertaining game, kind of lame there is no scene with Anna, the Planet Guardian, or the defect you save at the end.

Game doesn't work on Linux, if anyone interested.

When running through Wine (wine-10.18 Staging), the game crashes immediately with:

Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0xffffffffffffffff in 64-bit code (0x006ffffff50502)

Backtrace:
=>0 0x006ffffff50502 in ntdll (+0x20502)
1 0x006fffffc078a5 in kernelbase (+0x178a5)
2 0x006fffffc08551 in kernelbase (+0x18551)
3 0x006ffffe221c2a in ykn (+0x1c2a) <-- DRM module
4 0x00000141292156 in game (+0x1292156)

The crash happens in YKN.dll - this is the game's DRM/license protection system. The movaps instruction fails due to stack alignment issues that Wine doesn't handle correctly for this particular DRM.

WHY NATIVE DOESN'T WORK

Since the game is built on NW.js (Node.js + Chromium), I tried running it natively with Linux NW.js instead of Wine.

After fixing several compatibility issues (process.mainModule deprecation, URL encoding for Chinese filenames, etc.), the game actually launches and basic gameplay works.

However, the scene viewer and other features don't work. After debugging, I found the reason:

The DRM (YKN.dll) decrypts game data at runtime. CommonEvents.json doesn't exist on disk - it's generated in memory by the DRM when the game starts. Without the Windows DRM running, this data is missing, so any features relying on Common Events (like the scene viewer) fail silently.

Edited: I know some people run these games on Android using some kind of compatibility software, but I've never used it, so I don't know the technical details. Android will likely have the same problem, and nothing will work.

I think I'd better wait a week to see if someone finds a solution and posts it at the top of this thread.
