I agree, in the story the amount of abuse and humiliation Monica is subjected to is very unbalanced, at least she deserves a few victories, the only victory that I feel is genuine is when she becomes the manager of the bar and partially in having His mansion in his charge, but what it is to be the head of the escorts and the deals with Steven, in my opinion, the reward does not equal abuse.
I agree that Monica deserves better, and I've written about it more than once in this thread. But I don't agree that the things you listed are her victories. They are pyrrhic victories, and they are tantamount to defeat. Everything she has accomplished turns out to be an even greater dependence on powerful people who crave her sexual and financial exploitation. What does it mean to get her mansion back when she still has no rights, no civil liberties, no papers, and is dependent on Ralph? If we're talking about the "Shiny Hole" she became the manager of, that's not a win either, she just took on more responsibilities and has to do even more obscene things to make the place pay off (more explicit customer service) + her dependence on the banker didn't go anywhere.
The same can be said for any storyline where Monica peaks. These are deceptive peaks, and they lead to her becoming even more dependent on those around her. Biff used to abuse her, now all the investors can do it. It's the same at VIP Escort - she's a manager there as long as she's willing to sexually service Steve and Tiffany, who has much more perverse plans for Monica than Steve does.
So I see only one option - among the future 8 endings, give Monica a chance to really get everything (civil rights, influence, money, documents) back at least in the 1st ending without additional encumbrances and new blackmail and humiliation. As I wrote before, it would be nice if such Monica could change from being a bitch, then such a reward
would make sense, but this is my personal wish, I admit that the developer's plans for Monica are quite different.
