Well, I'm not a fan of Julia or lesbian stuff in general, but I understand that branch - there are many people here that love that kind of content. Julia's route is supposed to widen the game's audience. Even for Monica it makes sense - she is in the relationship with Julia to escape from the country and to live a rich life again.
With regard to the home path, it is understandable that some fans hate it since Monica definitely behaves like a different person there. But the patrons seem to love it. The content in term of quality and quantity is great. More than that, the branch kind of makes sense - Monica wants her house back.
But that route with Misty...There were few events, and, as far as I remember, none of them in Ep.4. And those that were in Ep.3 were mediocre at best. In addition, why Monica is wasting her to time for Misty in the first place? To get a cheap place to live. Ridiculous - she already had 3 places to live. And what's the ending of that branch? I mean, the point of photoshoots was for Monica to end up a pornstar. The office branch was all about getting her company back. I already mentioned about Julia's branch and the home one.
In my opinion, every route in the game must have some reason to exist. It must either move the plot further or show some interesting content that doesn't exist in other routes. For example, Shiny Hole branch exists to show us Monica dancing, sexy moves, all that stuff. The same can be said about the falling path - that's where Monica is supposed to fall deepest, to become a crack whore, or whatever. Even Bardie's route was about showing Monica having sex with, let's say, very young guys. Some love it. What was the point of the basement? BDSM. No other branch about it.
And I don't see why Misty's story exists. What's in that branch we haven't seen in other branches? Some new kinks? Is it essential for the story? So far, no. Nothing like that. Maybe in this update we will see something new, interesting, amazing. It is always a posibility. But I doubt that.
