The update does sound to be something exciting. Monica acquires a "new experience", now that is something i am interested in. Julia will be punishing Monica. I don't like Julia in particular but if Monica is going to be pushed a little further I'd be willing to put aside my dislike for Julia.V12 is OUT!

I'm happy to announce the new big regular update for the game beloved by many, "Fashion Business"!
As always, I’ve been working extra hard to bring you a pleasant experience and release updates on time.
I’ve put a lot of effort and idea in into this particular update, I hope you enjoy it.
Monica’s adventures continue, she acquires a bit of new experience ;-)
This update includes 1774 cool images, many hot animations, and 20223 words worth of dialogue!
What’s new:
- Office: Monica continues to ‘bond’ with her colleagues at the office (animated scenes)
- Steve: Steve continues business negotiations with his new partners. These include Monica (big animated scene)
- White: Monica decides to make use of White’s offer and take part in a photo shoot for her magazine to make money. (hot photo shoot, additional content in the Extra version)
- Julia: A scene where Julia gets jealous and punishes Monica. (animated scene, additional content in the Extra version)
- Slums: Monica gets dragged into another fraudulent scheme run by Misty. Where will this lead her? (animated scenes, additional content in the Extra version)
- Victoria: Victoria wants ‘friendship’ with everybody. What will Melanie face for her careless remarks at the photo shoot? (long scene, additional extreme content in the Extra version)
Even the other events seem nice and atleast have an element of suspense from the description. Hopefully it is just as fun to play.

I don't know what you're talking about, but if even Denuvo has been hacked, it's unlikely anyone will be stopped by some "activation steps". As for the Extra version, I'm still of the opinion that we should have patience and be prepared to wait at least a couple of weeks. (if you appreciate what the developer is doing). But if DM comes up with something more complicated (which you were hinting at) it will only provoke people to hack the game and leak it to the public earlier.Oh the whining will be great with the new activation steps for extra content..I wish you well

I wonder why the game is getting less popular overtime and receiving now less support than it used to have. I mean a year Decent Monkey had about 2000 patron, but now there are only 1500.
I personally feel that the game itself is getting better, not worse. The quality of the pictures and animation has improved quite a bit and most of the grind has gone in recent updates. The scenes are also getting hotter with more sex and so on.
Some might say it is because of pirates who upload the game here, but almost all other games get pirated and shared on this site, but still the number of their patrons is growing.

It is most probably because at this point fashion Business is too intimidating to play. I have my saves but seriously if i were to lose them, i might never pick up FB again just because reaching the same point is too much work. Luckily now we can start from Episode 3 itself but even that alone is time taking honestly. So for new players starting from Episode 1 is a daunting task to reach episode 3. Over 50000+ renders and 1000's of animations, not to mention the grind and doing some scenes repeatedly, makes those 50000 renders effectively 80-90 thousand. The initial grind is still there. You continuesly still need to keep clicking, like to enter a building, you need 2 to 3 clicks and so on.
Decent Monkey is definitely improving in terms of art and animation he would benefit a lot if he makes a new game. There are no developers who can develop as much content as him in such less time. Fashion Business should be brought to it's closure soon if DM wants to prosper further financially. I myself have been surprised by the low numbers on his patreons.

Well, ignore the pick of the graph, check the average, he is losing some patron but it is not as bad.
Probably story is going on for too long, despite the high quality of the game.
I am in favour of shorter stories but with decent sequel.
Anna is an example, the sequel is very successful.
Now this Monica is stuck in this situation for too long, or the Dev escalate (gangbeng, rape etc) or it close with revenge.

Some decrease may be due to the disconnection of Russian users from Patreon for obvious reasons, Paypal and payment from Russian cards do not work for us

Lets not forget that he started a new game about 12 months ago. So some may have started following that game. Also since the new game his releases that you could set your clock too have become less consistent. The last 12 months have been the least productive since I have followed the game. Not only that but the quantity of renders and events in each update has been less than before the new game launched.
There is site for Russian users “Boosty”. If the developer will create page there he will get more subscribers.

Don`t forget that in Russia and mb other CIS countries u can`t pay to patreon and subcribe without dances since 24 Febr. Graph started to go down just in febr 22.

A new game can be a bust. Probably will, since most new games are not financially successful. 1500 patron is not such a little number. Let's say 200 out of them pay 30 dollars. It's 6000 dollars. Let's say the rest of the patrons pay 5 dollars. It is another 6500. Even excluding the Patreon fees it is a huge amount of money in Russia. You need to be up there very high to get such a salary. Very few IT specialist earn more than 5000 dollars.
