You can choose another option in the dialog and avoid slavery/BDSM - in exchange for a favor in the future (but knowing Philip, that would be a pretty risky choice for Monica
). As for the 30K, I wrote about it above - when the whole big quest is completely finished by the developer, your Monica will probably be able to earn more money and 30k won't seem like something unattainable to her anymore. I'm not a developer and can only guess, but one of the most obvious assumptions is that Monica becomes a porn star (the Office/Photoshoot storyline) and working in that capacity for Miss White starts earning significantly more. But there may be other sources of income as well.

I, too, do not like to cheat and have been playing FB since the dawn of time and every penny Monica has earned she has sweated for.
Starting from the pole dancing on the street, to the streep tease at the shining hole, to the escort job, and despite the two zeroes from when she was in jail with Marcus Monica for me, has accumulated a fair amount, the boring thing is to repeat the same things.
Surely there will be others who have done better or worse, but still the girl is able to pay Philip.

I always thought that Decent Monkey was being a little naive trying to release ep2 on Steam. It is the epitome of main stream gaming and Fashion Business, especially from ep2 onward, was never going to be allowed on the mainstream gaming platforms.
No need to wait years, there are many other great games.
