How far have you played through the game? I'm not sure if you are asking because you haven't reached this part of the game yet or you're asking why a high class prostitute would lower her self to work on a street corner.

The in game reason why Monica is doing any job that will earn her some money is that she owes $50,000 to Perry. And the Mommy character warned her that bad things happen to people who don't pay their debts. I really hope that Decent Monkey writes in some significant consequences for Monica if she fails to raise Perry's $50,000 by the end of episode 3.

How far have you played through the game? I'm not sure if you are asking because you haven't reached this part of the game yet or you're asking why a high class prostitute would lower her self to work on a street corner.

The in game reason why Monica is doing any job that will earn her some money is that she owes $50,000 to Perry. And the Mommy character warned her that bad things happen to people who don't pay their debts. I really hope that Decent Monkey writes in some significant consequences for Monica if she fails to raise Perry's $50,000 by the end of episode 3.

Also, Mommy forbade Monica to work at her apartment.

I think I found who she is, this is one of the customers from the clothing store.

then cops had an oral conversation in the car and ordered Monica to listen and work for Mommy.

I think the dev already knows the illogic of these situations, the logical thing would be close the slums path once again you choose working in the hotel, but many players prefer playing all the routes at once, so, the dev let all the paths being available.

But you are the player, you control Monica, if you think it's illogical, you can choose not to play that path and not be illogical yourself XD.

Most of Monica's decisions don't make a lot of sense to me either. But that's okay because I'm here just for the ride. I agree that Monica working for the high class escort and doing the slum dwellers in her apartment and now working on the street corner is illogical. Why would anyone preform a sex act for $20 in the slums when they potentially could earn $300 to $700 doing the same thing at the VIP escort.

Some players only put Monica through the one path, either slum prostitution or the VIP prostitution. Stan5851 has said that he doesn't play the VIP path in his main playthrough. The threat Mommy made to Monica about not paying Perry's debt and then telling her bluntly that she will no longer tolerate Monica using her slum apartment to steal clients off her girls, is a good enough reason in a plot like this for Monica to work on the street and be chasing every dollar she can.

If the cops caught up with Monica they would be sending her back to the prison I would think.

agn25, my Monica in the main playthrough doesn't do prostitution at all (either in VIP Escort or Slums), but I still go through that content with each update to keep up with what's going on. If it were any Julia in her place, I might not have gone through those scenes, but our beautiful and proud Lady is too good to ignore the scenes with her even if she's conditionally decent in the main playthrough.)
