I recommend a clean installation (unpacking) of the game from the archive. The path to the directory with the game should not be too long, and it is better not to use mods, they damage the game. I also advise you to read the FAQ, it has a lot of useful information, including regarding the 1st episode.

I'm not posting detailed review of v16 yet because too few players have had time to play it, but if you're avoiding spoilers, I'll just say that you should expect probably the best event ever created for Fashion Business. What's more, this is the first full-fledged big BDSM event in our game, and it's absolutely beautiful. And it was only the first day of Monica's 7 days of slavery. But there are other wonderfully crafted events and Basement Quest is not the only gem of this update.

Sorry mate but there was nothing in the latest update that was better than Monica's trip on Mr Campbell's boat. Maybe when we get a few more days into the basement, it might equal it. Everyone has different tastes. For me, the basement event trumped the yacht scene, though of course the yacht scene is beautiful and in my personal ranking of sex scenes it is one of the three best scenes. That said, I wouldn't compare the vanilla scene head-on to a BDSM session (let's call it that).
