I personally feel that the game itself is getting better, not worse. The quality of the pictures and animation has improved quite a bit and most of the grind has gone in recent updates. The scenes are also getting hotter with more sex and so on.

Some might say it is because of pirates who upload the game here, but almost all other games get pirated and shared on this site, but still the number of their patrons is growing.

Well, ignore the pick of the graph, check the average, he is losing some patron but it is not as bad.

Probably story is going on for too long, despite the high quality of the game.

I am in favour of shorter stories but with decent sequel.

Anna is an example, the sequel is very successful.

Now this Monica is stuck in this situation for too long, or the Dev escalate (gangbeng, rape etc) or it close with revenge.

Lets not forget that he started a new game about 12 months ago. So some may have started following that game. Also since the new game his releases that you could set your clock too have become less consistent. The last 12 months have been the least productive since I have followed the game. Not only that but the quantity of renders and events in each update has been less than before the new game launched.

There is site for Russian users “Boosty”. If the developer will create page there he will get more subscribers.

Don`t forget that in Russia and mb other CIS countries u can`t pay to patreon and subcribe without dances since 24 Febr. Graph started to go down just in febr 22.

Decent Monkey is definitely improving in terms of art and animation he would benefit a lot if he makes a new game. There are no developers who can develop as much content as him in such less time. Fashion Business should be brought to it's closure soon if DM wants to prosper further financially. I myself have been surprised by the low numbers on his patreons.

Let's say the rest of the patrons pay 5 dollars. It is another 6500. Even excluding the Patreon fees it is a huge amount of money in Russia. You need to be up there very high to get such a salary. Very few IT specialist earn more than 5000 dollars.

I agree it is a big number. But he can increase his engagement by gradually introducing his new game and FB moves closer to its end. No need to end one to start another. He can to small updates of his new game initially and get feedback. His patrons already pay for FB so they will just be getting a free game to try on the side. If it is successful, DM can successfully move to closing down FB and focusing on the new game. This way he has already established a market for his new game.

Plus there is very little chance for DM to fail considering his quality is really good and the updates are big and frequent. This itself is a rarity in the 3d games sphere.

Additional DM is not alone, there are others who work with him and get paid from the patron earnings as well. So he might not even be making as much as he deserves for being such a top quality dev. He should definitely try to push towards 2500 patrons.

I think that's the point too. DM has spread his forces on the second project but ended up miscalculating his forces and as a consequence (less content on each FB update) lost some of the patrons. Note that the decrease in the number of patrons did not start after 24 February 2022, but much earlier.

The peak on the chart, after which the decline began, is the approximate launch date of MILFs of Sunville. Whether this is a coincidence or a pattern is up to you to decide. But personally I don't have much faith in a "magical spillover" of FB patrons to patrons of the alien MoS. They are too different games (FB hardcore and MoF vanilla) and too different audiences.

Perhaps the fact that globally the game's storyline froze in place also played a role. A huge number of storylines and as a result - an attempt to fill each one with content, but all in all this translates into a very slow progression of the game's global storyline.

And again we come to what we've already discussed. In my opinion, for the foreseeable future, DM should reduce the number of current FB storylines by completing them and heavily pushing the main story of the game, do some episode 3 endings, and then start episode 4, which will fundamentally change everything that happens in the game. You know I'm in favour of your version of developments but there could be a few of those, but not as many as there are now.

Of course, you could continue doing things as before, releasing 4-5 (let's say) events for each route in each update. In that case, the game could be extended for another 5-10 years, but whether or not the current patrons would take it well, I can't say. Personally, I'd like to see the finale of Monica's adventures sooner than 5 years from now.

"Some" of the reason for loss of support is just the game is too big. I used to be a monthly supporter, now I support maybe every 2-4 updates? Not because the quality has gone down, but waiting for "your" storyline to get updated can take a while. For example, I am interested in the Biff/Office/Photoshoots/Joe/Shiny lines, when those get updated my interest peeks and I support. When they don't, I don't. At ~6ish updates a year and the current number of storylines, its going to be years to get every storyline up to date. Poor Kebab guy still only has 1 discount rental option.

I feel like a broken record here but that sounds like the bug that was introduced in v11. He released a hotfix that hasn't been shared here. v12 is just hours away from being released(I think). The fix will be in v12.

After continuing the shiny hole line , almost all the problems I met have been solved.I think the problem may have something to do with the shiny hole lin
