Let's be honest. This whole universe rests on one pillar, whose name is Monica Buckfett. The second pillar (the smaller one) is Melanie. Take away that pillar, and the universe disappears, including all the assholes and perverts who inhabit it.
I think deep down, none of us want to part with Monica forever, and if after Fashion Business is finished (I hope it's a full 16 updates of Episode 4) DM decides to do a spin-off on Fashion Business, I'm sure many players will be very happy about it. For example, this spin-off could show the story of a young Monica Buckfett becoming the owner of Fashion Magazine, or it could be a look at the events of the FB storyline, shown from a different perspective. In general, it could be anything at all, as long as Monica Buckfett is in this game.

I don't think a prequel could work. If he wants to stay consistent with the story in FB, Monica had very little sexual experience when the game started. What would that game contain ?
He could do a spin-off with her at the farm maybe, but I don't think that's allowed according with patreon rules, right?
And, to be honest, what do we really like about Monica? For me it's not her personality (more like a caricature than a real person) so if he created another world, with a good looking female MC, and an interesting personality, that would be a win for me.

I agree that the best thing to do is to keep going with Monica's Story. But if we talk about an hypothetical prequel, of course Monica's would be boring. But what about Victoria's ? Or maybe Philip's or Julia's ?
And for spin-offs, I won't enumerate all the interesting possibilities, but I repeat, the most important is the current storyline imo ^^

I want "The Farm" (in its Patreon-acceptable version), and preferably in episode 4, as a complete storyline. But if that doesn't happen, a spin-off with "The Farm" (without the moral constraints, as it was intended) that would be sold only on subscribestar.adult would also be great, though perhaps not as profitable as our "Fashion Business." As for profitability, though, that's a matter of opinion. Seath Black has managed to get his games to pay good dividends. I see no reason why the talented DecentMonkey couldn't. It's more of a marketing issue, which is entirely solvable.

Continue the story from the "true" ending, could be one of the dark endings like her being a street whore.
Multiverse style where something at the start of the game ends, like husband divorces her and she losing everything but she is still a famous model etc
A prequel wouldn't make sense as theres no sex but the same story from one of the other characters POV could be good.
Or continue the good ending where she gets the magazine or revenge but magazine is now global in a new country/city and she's pressured by the board to do things or a much bigger company takes it over.
