If you're interested in a game with a really strong and charismatic heroine comparable to our beloved Monica Buckfett, I suggest you check it out here. The game is 99.9% complete.
Luna's Fall from Grace [v0.32 Public] [Frozen Synapse]
It doesn't have cool animations, but it's one of the best games (imho). It can be played through at least 3 different routes (and even more) and where every MC choice really makes a difference.

Regarding the looks. If you're talking about the red-haired girl in the outdated screenshots in the OP post, they don't reflect her true appearance as the beautiful woman with blue-black hair that Luna later transforms into. The screenshots are long overdue for an update, because what the player sees in them is Luna before the transformation. But if you've been through the whole game and you don't like the new Luna that's presented there, well, we all have different tastes, and that's okay.) Personally, I really liked her, especially her appearance from the "Bad Ass" route. Monica is still N1 for me, but Luna is really cool. ;)

pls help. i cant negotiate with steve in this ep3v16. It said "wait for the eps 4". I cant proceed to the lates photoshoot scene.
