The problem is that a regular user with a free Mega account is limited to 4 GB for 1 download session...After that you have to either reconnect to the Internet (if you have a “gray” IP), or wait several hours, or figure out something else...And users with a "white" dedicated IP in this sense are even more unlucky (and I am among them), this way of reconnecting to the provider will not help them at all. And they need to act in some other ways (VPN, proxies, etc. things)...So in this sense, despite the traditionally high load on DM servers (in the first hours after the game release), it was the “update game” function that was fastest for me.No need for people to wet their pants. It might have been closer to 10 minutes. I didn't have my stopwatch to hand counting it down.I generally get download speeds of about 14 to 16 MB/s from MEGA. So it would of been just over 10minutes.
The point being it was a lot quicker to download the whole episode than it was to download just the update through whatever DM uses for us to use the "update game" function.
By the way how dare anyone put that ugly hat on Monica.

As a long time Mega user, I can say that it is quite fast (and what Ostego wrote about 30-50MB/sec depending on time) is also true...(at least for me and Ostego, living in the same city)..But only Pixeldrain is still faster (at least for me) and only this service was able to fully utilize all the bandwidth of my connection.

for Fashion Buisness Episode 4, I'm trying to go on Victoria's content but I can't go past "Beginning of Transformation" event and reach the "Model contract" event where it doesn't show up... Do I have to do another thing to continue on after getting Melanie a tattoo? I have the latest update v9.02...
Also It sucks that Grace scene was hidden behind the activation wall...

There are usually no problems with getting new content, so it's hard for me to say anything specific about it. Anyway, maybe agn25, vimmers or Ostego know more about it and will be able to help you. As for activation, vimmers knows about it.

And I'm not sure how to progress?... I have the latest update from the 1st page so I'm not sure what's wrong :/Silver_Crow117, are you playing Fashion Business?

And did you start playing from the beginning, from episode 1? Because all the eps (1-4) are interconnected.

Maybe this is such karma of Fashion Business, for Silver decided to cheat the game and started from the last episodeSilver "the cheater" started playing in ep.4
There is no way he could have only gotten stuck in ep.4 when the previous ones are an absolute maze!
...BTW, as I wrote, starting from the 3rd episode FB is played as a classic grind-free AVN.

I hate MEGA with all my heart. As a "peasant" who doesn't pay the premium, the downloads freeze at 1 GB or even earlier and I have to use the VPN to download another 1 GB and then change the IP again with the VPN to continue downloading, horrible experience
. Pixeldrain is very good as long as the download is under 5 GB.In the end, Steam is the only way for me to have unlimited downloads at a good speed
.Yes, the first and second episodes need to be remastered, too bad it's a single developer without the resources to do it.

I too am a “peasant” in that sense and have never paid to use Mega. I don't know what Mega's new policy is now for new users, but when I created an account there years ago, it didn't (and still doesn't) cost a dime...I just have a free account and as a gift from Mega I have 50GB of dedicated space to store any files, which I use...And the session limit for downloads is 4GB (not 1GB like you). As for the remaster of ep2, this is in the dev plans and this process (as far as I know) goes in parallel with the development of ep4...At least, some time ago we got a new version of ep3 (v16.01), optimized and improved and all this did not prevent DM from releasing updates for Ep4 in parallel. So I guess it's not a matter of resources, but a matter of timing and priorities.

I mean… I did start episode 4 by itself with me picking the choices… BUT I DID PLAY EPISODE 1-3 MY SAVES GOT CORRUPTED AND I DONT WANT TO PLAY THOSE EPISODES AGAIN!! (I mean I will cuz I think this game is really good)… just weird that me not being the saves over and picking the choices would cause the game to not progress…Silver "the cheater" started playing in ep.4

Silver_Crow117, actually, the DM has thought of everything, and basically, you can just start a new game in ep4 by answering the game's questions about what decisions your Monica made in the previous 3 eps... I mean, it's the perfect solution in case something happened to the old saves and you don't want to replay the whole thing over again.

Silver_Crow117, until agn25 shows up in the thread who might know what the problem is with your ep4 quests, I want to say that if the walkthrough I gave you a link to doesn't help, try focusing on the main storyline "Office".. Many of the quests in the secondary storylines are related specifically to your progress in the main storyline.

.I actually rarely use MEGA, luckily there are always other hosts available, otherwise I end up subscribing and crying to the developer for another way to download the content
.In fact, I met F95 by chance two years ago. I was playing BaDIK and was looking for help with the words in the English exam (mini-game) and I ended up here, but I couldn't see any links to the guides so I had to register. I don't regret it, I've discovered at least 50 decent games that I would never have known or found. I also met a lot of very funny trolls.
Usually happens. Loading saves from previous parts almost always works fine (except for the damn College Kings), but when starting the new parts/chapters directly and answering questions, sometimes the flags are not configured correctly.

FB doesn't have that problem..I'm 99.9% sure that Silver's problem with the quest has nothing to do with flags or anything like that. In ep4, the lion's share of quests in general are triggered by a simple mouse click while Monica is sitting in her chair in Fashion Magazine's office.
The main game points and their solutions are in the FAQ, but what Silver is asking about is not what players are constantly asking about in this thread. Otherwise it would already be in the FAQ.

Yeah I’ve finished the office storyline and Victorias storyline is still stuck at “Beginning of Transformation” event :/ maybe I’ll have to do everything from episode 1 and up :/
