As far as I see there are a least 4 ways to bring Bardie back. Some of them are more difficult than others, but still:
1. Create a patch that brings Bardie back and share it on decent-monkey.com. Post a normal version on Patreon without Bardie and some link "check some new content on my personal site." Not easy to create? Maybe, but for sure possible.
2. Create 2 versions of the game - one with Bardie and one without. One of them the developer can share on Patreon and the other on decent-monkey. A few developers do it and they are totally fine.
3. Replace the model of Bardie with an older one for the third episode and don't care about Episodes 1 and 2. As far as I remember there is none or almost none of the new content with him in the third episode. Of course, Decent Monkey will have to replace some of the repeatable content from the previous episodes, but it is not so much. It would take time and effort, sure, but since Decent Monkey is now developing the second game, certainly he has some spare time or at least had back then when Bardie was removed.
4. Move completely to Subscribestar. Sure, he doesn't have many supporters there now, but if he decides to move there slowly, by posting something like that for a few months, "Hello, guys, please, if you can, support me on Subscribestar, I will be able to post there the content you all miss - Bardie, the Ranch and so", it is totally feasible, maybe even profitable in the long run, since that content can bring new people to support.

Guy saves from 1080p for v7 do not comply with v.8 720p. The load screen does not allow to shift through them. SO can I fix this or again have to wait for the 1080p version
From what I understood after reading more about this, it's not only about Bardie's age. it has also something to do with abuse, or something like this. So not only the model is the problem but the nature of the content. At least that's what DM said.
I think he doesn't want to bother with multiple versions, from what I saw, he is happy just having one version without.
If he really wants to do something with the ranch in the future (I doubt it will happen) he will have to do a new version and then maybe resume something with Bardi but until then, I am 99% sure there won't be anything.
Who is barring him from producing abuse on a porn game? There are a lot more disturbing things on the net especially on porn sites like Heavy where the cartels are posting.

Q: Yes, you can use them. The only bug I know of (not critical for the game) is that on the first six saves of the game, the icons of your 720 saves may slightly overlap the 1080p icons of your old saves and this prevents you from seeing the interface arrows which are responsible for flipping through the save pages. The solution to this problem is very simple, you just need to save your 720p game in each of the 6 slots and the interface arrows will become visible again and you can continue to save your 720p game to any page.

It was a snarky comment not even a sarcazm. In the beginning I was about to mock that figuring this out was not easy at all, but then I realized you said the aolution was easy and not how you ended up figuring it out. Which is true. Saving the game in 6 slots is not the hardest this in a game.
