Indeed I would agree....a bit of a disappointing update. Monica keeps having intercources with different and multiple people at a time but still zero progress on story and further downfalling with this double naming that does not make any sense.

You just can't understand it. I mean the present state, not the history.

From what I know about the way Steam works - once banned, it's extremely difficult (and as the experience of the FB developer has shown, impossible) to simply go back. Roughly speaking, FB is blackmarked by Steam, so there is no present to speak of, because the present of FB does not exist in isolation from its "banned past".
