Since the part 2 is a long way away from being released, I am a bit curious about this render of part 2. I remember seeing a trailer of part 2 where this scene was vaguely there so that got me wondering- How would this scene fit in the story?

I am guessing this will be the end of part 2 but I am wondering why would they do that? Why would they tie and throw away Lara to rot in the sun? And part 2 seemed like she was suprisingly enjoying the company too from that spitroast scene, seems unrealistic they would then throw her away. Would be a waste, no?

What do you all think?

I think they just leave her out there to soften her up, weaken her.

I agree - although I would need to see the whole scene to say for certain, I think I prefer the old lighting angle/intensity better, but again, we will see when the final render comes to reveal the whole scenery.
