Beach scene with Jeremy and derek was really good. I really like the fact that maive agreed to help derek in the future. Scene with Alfred was really good too. I liked that he was talking down to her even thought that’s his mother

This is the second time I've seen a writer use "out of pocket" to mean "out of hand" &/or "out of control" rather than "having lost money in a transaction."
Is this a new thing that the kids are saying, or an error/mistake?
A lot of times it has to do with translating. A lot of them, English isn’t their first language so they do their best to translate it accordingly

Damn, I was really hoping that -after they came- either Alfred or his girlfriend would realize it was Maive. Like Alfred would be enjoying his drink and turned the wrong way when Maive walked out of the rocks, but his girlfriend would see her and ... yeah. I mean, she might not even know what Alfred's mom looks like yet, but then later meet Mrs.Rose at Alfred's house...
Don't get me wrong - I absolutely loved the beach scene.
Unrelated: Maive gives a lecture on alcohol and prohibition, but leaves out the intentionally poisoning of alcohol resulting in thousands of deaths.

Are the steam updates exactly the same as your Patreon ones, or are their changes?
Exactly the same but most likely people from Patreon will get the game earlier for each update, just my way of showing respect to my Patrons and this is also the way to sort out bugs before I update the game in Steam.
