Hi folks, just picked this one up. Question though: How does love and corruption play into the branching of the story?
I can hazard a guess that corruption = MC more open to cheating. But what does love exactly do? Is it a more vanilla oriented "focus on story and mysteries" only route? Or something else?

Dang it, Leaving the story on a cliffhanger, It was getting good, I was really wanting to see Maive get taken by the Cult or a Reveal that Xander was one of the cult members & was going to take Maive. I wanted to see Maive taken by the cult and even corrupted by them,hell my playthrough she was corrupt enough. Interesting though that she had options to fool around with hr son, but with Rebecca was too much?. That was a surprise. Pushing her away. Anyhow, Good story, just liked to see Maive taken, oh that and that strange red eyed peeping tom at the start of the story explained. Why was a supernatural being watching Maive and her Hubby.

The ending felt like an Alex Jones fever trip. Just missing the gay frogs & demon children
Its not just the mod, its MixDrop period. Every time I try to download something from that site the exact same thing happens without fail.
This last attempt, the site that loaded tried to get me to open a run command and execute code.

Holy fuck that ending was TERRIBLE!
How could they have thought that it people would enjoy an hour of dumb exposition that amounts to "Sure I'm evil but I WAS DOING IT FOR THE RIGHT REASONS! Trust me I felt bad about it Boo hoo" then rendering all of your choices meaningless (Even if you make all the "correct" choices in the game then in the end the main character wakes up just to witness herself dying, great fucking idea Celestial Novel or I guess based on the credit at the very end, it was someone named Dwayne to blame) before revealing that this was mostly a big way to introduce the sequel with some random dude as the main character.

If true that you can't end up with anyone and die this is a terrible ending possibly the worst on this site and that is a high bar to reach. Don't know what is with the games recently having terrible ending for different reasons.

Yeah, it's true, it's disappointing but understandable.
I mean, I don't think it's bad that the dev wants to include a male MC, he already explained his reasons and I think it's good, but I would have liked Maeve to at least remain one of the main characters and in this second part to tie up all the loose ends that were left in the air instead of being relegated to just a secondary character and romantic interest of this new protagonist.
But well, that's just one opinion and I repeat that I wish the developer all the best for this second part.
