Overview:
Fear & Hunger is a horror dungeon crawler set in the dark and hopeless dungeons of fear and hunger. Four misfortuned adventurers dwell deeper and deeper to the darkness and uncover the secrets this ancient fortress holds inside. The fortress works as an ancient nexus for different planes of existence. The depths are in an eternal turmoil as both old and new gods struggle for power, it’s up to the players to choose their position and stance in all of this.

I, literally, just watched a YT'r play this game...fair word of warning. This game is brutal, punishing, and unforgiving. The RNG encounters...s-u-c-k, and the enemies are seriously (violently) OP. Also, certain events trigger an RNG coin toss (for skills, items, searches, and even combat)- you can lose everything in your life to the toss of dime. (Lol) No, seriously- insta-kill. It doesn't look like there's any saves/restores- absolutely nothing. You also have the luxury of picking up a random phobia- scared of ghosts? Combat is a whole lot harder when you're shaking in your boots and your damage table is halved (if you even hit your target).

I don't know what program/engine this is, BUT if there was a game that needed cheat codes or a cheat engine- this would be it.

This may cause a rage-quit boner, before anything else...

I must admit this game looks interesting, even if it doesn't have porn.

I kind of want to see sex with an artfully "grotesque" monster. Not those who merely have cat ears and otherwise looks like any other "spotfree" woman. I don't mean in the way of strictly deformed humans. Give her huge claws and fangs... a very skeleton like tail with blades too?

I do not find that thing attractive at all, rather I'm getting the "heebie jeebies"... which would work great in a pornographic horror game. I know there's that text adventure (with some images) loosely inspired by lovecraft on this site

The game is just a big ol' sausage fest. Even the women have dicks. A feature which is horrorful for me in other ways than it was probably intended.
Why not make a horror game with normal sex mixed with some spooky sex? A female antagonist that "scares" you, but still raises the question "what if" from deeply within your mind.
Horny As(s)ylum went in that direction and the premise was "interesting".

Execution and writting left something to be desired; excused as it was still relatively early in development, before it was abandoned.

Just my "2 cents" on this subject. I will probably give this game a try no matter the amount of sexual content.

Thank you so much for posting this! Anw i've played the demo version of it. Based on that, there's 2 ways to save. By sleeping in certain beds and suceeding a coin toss, or by using a book you can randomly picked up called book of enlightenment

If you feel that the game is too difficult, there is a mod around that attempts to re-balance the game and outright just give u the saving book.

AFAIK it's a student (college?) project of some sort for a thesis. The combat system and some other things make it pop out (50/50 insta death rng is silly with how frequent it is and just cheapens further the already cheap deaths, but that's just my opinion, despite it being a mainstay in many roguelite games) that theyve not fleshed it out thus far or were using the combat system more to tell a story than as an indepth combat system. The game's lore is extremely cool though and horror dungeon crawler/rougelites are incredibly sparse so a lot can be forgiven. I'm looking forward to more updates that orange~ puts out on it and hopeful expansions to awesome lore.

and yes you can cheat........but its useless since the enemy's can cuts out your body parts permanently,


Edit:right after i took this screenshot, a pack of wolfs ran into me and insistent-killed me without any battles--->game over, never managed to save.

Well, that's not really the kind of game I come here for but I do like how it looks, I guess. Gameplay sounds like frustrating bullshit though, dunno how I feel about that.
