I've said it before and I'll say it again: By all measures (other than this thread), he is succeeding.

He has a stable patreon income.
The comments on his discord/patreon are positive
He is sticking to the last plan he made and seeing positive results.

He even muted this thread so he doesn't have to see any negative comments!

So, are you sure that he's doing it wrong? If you do something and you see objective, positive results, why would you stop doing that?

Personally I do think it's wrong to ask people to give you money to develop a product and then make no serious effort to develop said product, to give misleading progress updates, to make promises based on donor milestones and then walk back from those promises after those milestones are met etc. If I was doing it myself I would like to think I would be straightforward with my donors and explain that I had lost track in development and realistically they were not going to get the project they had paid for, just based on basic moral values. There are creators who have done that before, and have even come back with renewed motivation and produced something worthwhile. I don't see why this guy can't.

You have to start with UK and not the other countries.
If you choose any of the other nations you can't start the game

I like how we can only play the unimportant,unnecessary and boring parts of the game.
He could start at age 16 or 18 and leave the rest out and it would be a better game but no the eternal crab has to milk his patreons.
