Is there any meaningful variation in this update? Either from new or old choices? I'm guessing no but i don't want to miss any 'hidden' content.

(Not to hate on small choices with little to no impact. They can add nice little vibe shifts and a sense of ownership, and nicely break up the click click click from passage to passage in straight line.)

Nope. Not that I could tell. This update opens two 'side quests' which are opt-in/out, and there's no reason to opt out. Probably implemented in the future where you either do the quest or it jumps in Twine to after the quest if you opt-out.

Still 100% railroad with flavor 'choices'

I was a bit disappointed with this update... I'd probably suggest waiting for the next one if you can wait.

I kinda also disappointed with this game and direction it currently takes. I do not care much about update frequency because I do not pay for the access and therefore it is not really my place to complain about it. But what is disappointing for me is a change of narrative direction between the Prologue and actual story.

Prologue was refreshingly normal in most of its scenes. Young woman was doing sexy things in it because she wanted to and it is exceedingly rare among porn games. But the main story goes on the well-trodded road of corruption which is almost every single game with female protagonist on this site. I guess it sells but it also very very boring.

Female protagonist with a fucking agency is much more interesting for me than number nine thousand doll to be abused and pressured into situations she doesn't want to be in.

Yes, I have the same complaint. What drew me to the game initially was the idea that our agent was a badass who kicks ass and also uses her sexuality to make things go her way. Instead, we get a character who is docile, ready to be used and abused like the million other female protagonist games we see on here.

If you don't get the information you need from a random guy on the internet who has nothing to do with the project, I'm Crushstation#8544 on Discord
Hey. It's not just about getting answers(which is great), but rather a process of discussing topic at hand. I assume you're not going to spend your day going back and forth with me while discussing 'Female Agent'? You're working at the game. But maybe this guy will.

It's an invitation to a conversation, as much as thought process.
Journey, not a destination.
Thanks for answering.

This is astute. I actually do hope to go through the existing content and add in width/backstory callbacks. Of course, this will take time, because work takes time.
it took 3 years to build titanic, we are here for 5 years and we are far away from interior decoration. so, yes it took time.
and you are again repeating mistakes. now you are again multiplying trivial choices like lipsticks, eyeliners, mascara, shoes, panties... which have no impact on the game and some of them are pretty hard to see on mc's avatar. waist of time
your time management is at least poor or you do it in purpose to extend game's life. years spent on intro, adding and removing options and yet basically nothing happened. 1 year of real work (mostly when mc reached bangkok) and 4 years of idle experimenting.

I count 5 parts to be released

If you'd actually read the first line of the post you've attached, you'd see that it says "we're going to release the episode in two parts". And then he informs about the contents of those two parts, before he writes about three additional side quests that he also gives us the release schedule for. Those were never the same episode. They're the next ones.

And what's the problem with releasing it in two parts, thus giving us a chance to play some of it earlier? How is that of all things a proof of poor time management?

It's not difficult to find things to criticize about the development of the game, but the massive circlejerk obsession on this thread to find new things to ridicule every single time a new update is posted, is just a bit pathetic to be honest.

Having to delay all or part of something is literally the definition of poor time management.

For how little content there is in each update (and I can’t stress that point enough), there’s no excuse for it to take so long to release updates, never mind splitting them into even smaller chunks.

4 months of “I’m making great progress”, only for him to deliver half an update with some bizarre story about his massive blue balls making it difficult for him to chase a runaway dog?

Of all the pity posts he makes to excuse his incompetence, that’s the stupidest one yet.

But nothing has been delayed. No release date was given before the decision to split the update in two parts. If you're looking for something to legitimately criticize in that post and the release schedule, one could've pointed to how the time before the first early access and between the general release and the second early access equals four weeks, while the previous Patreon post mentioned three weeks to complete the writing—and that a total of four weeks to polish the early access versions into general releases seems exaggerated. (See, I did the job the poster I was replying to could have done.)

But claiming that the update was split in five parts when the second sentence in the screenshot you're posting explains that it wasn't; that's just another example of how people try to find something to ridicule about every. single. thing. Crush communicates to his followers.
