on the main download page it says the game runs on win 10 only. i don't get why people try to play it with win 7 anyway and then wonder why it doesn't work. not saying you cannot have issues with this game with win 10, but come on, just invest and update your OS. isn't safe anyway to browse the web looking for porngames on piratesites with a 10 year old OS that has not been updated in years.

why I still use win 7 ?
many reason .. the main one is that it's compatible with a lot of old game I love to play , and win 10 is not
other reason are purely aesthetic , I don't like the look of win 10 , I don't like the fact that it's super hard to personalize it , like remove the volume osd , or have a good looking start menu of files explorer
it have no respect for the privacy , it have adds everywhere and it's full of bloatware and sponsored app

yes , a lot of people have that problem ( myself included , can't play the game anymore because of that ... )
I think the problem come from the memory ( RAM ) the game use , just check the absurd amount of memory in the task manager , the game doesn't respond but the memory usage keep increasing anyway

the problem if you clear the appdata folder is that you loose all the saves and persistent files with stats ?

oh and do you use win 7 ? lot of people with this problem use win 7

No, I use Windows 10 and I still have this memory bloat issue. Also my old saves won't load anymore, even when waiting after a couple minutes and trying to reset the AppData folder. Maybe the game will have this load issue fixed in the next patch.

The developer has worked on memory issues in one of the latest patches - and that helped some users, but it seems not all of them. I haven't experienced any slow loading in the latest version while I have had in one of the previous ones.

I doubt that. The game runs fine for most. The small amount of people who have issues is very vocal about it, which is understandable because they want to play it and can't enjoy it because of the issues.

There was a big poll on darktoz' patreon when he patched it to the newest version, and this are the results



So I wouldn't get my hopes up too high that he will spend much more time on performance fixes.

Perhaps it more often affects people who modify game saves. I've modified things like Energy, Money & Willpower multiple times. If that's not applicable then I'm quite sure what is causing this.

Funny is: used to work fine with Firefox/Chrome, but somehow stopped working in recent versions.

For savegames - which are stored in the webbrowsers local storage - you might want to enter about:config and set dom.storage.default_quota to a higher value. I have mine set to 10240.

Speaking about pirate sites and .exe files: it's safer than to start some game.exe anyway.

Wow, good post. It had not occurred to me that perhaps the software I am using to run the game is the issue. Currently, I use SWF File Player, unknown Version. I'll try to use other software and see if that helps, I don't use Linux though, I use Windows 10 Professional.

To use the script just place the project files into the "inputData" folder and then run decrypt.exe to get the results in the "outputData" folder.
