It's a beta tester tier, costing 10 times the normal sub.
I know enough about beta testing to know that's not how you beta test something. I also know enough about sales and economy to know that's not how you make money either.

I agree, but I also know there's a small part of the gaming community that LOVES beta testing new stuff and is even willing to pay for the "privilege". I am NOT one of those people but I acknowledge they are out there

oh wow, only 50 bucks per month to have the glorious honor to be salia's beta beta tester and experience the game at it's most unstable. the perfect choice for the most masochistic and devoted simps of us. way better investment than say buying a fully fleshed out AAA game on steam. per month.

from what I understand it is to try and help speed development of the game
Sailia doesnt make the art herself so progress is limited by how much artwork she has and art isnt cheap even a basic picture with a single pose roughly costs around 50$ (from what I looked into anyway I dont know if this is accurate)
I dont know whats in the week 11 update, so I have to wait like everyone else
as much as I would like to pledge more CA72$ is a bit much for me
I hate to enlighten someone who knows about sales and economy about this but despite popular belief not all femdom games make tons of money, especially when you have to purchase the art itself
even with consistent and good updates inactive/stagnant games (Im lookin at you ToT) make buttloads more than FemU and other popular games
when it comes down to it we should just even be grateful we get a game that gets updated consistently, plus when alot of people have the option to wait a little and get the game for free, what does it really matter if some people are willing to pay and get it sooner?
I am personally willing to pay my 7$ and wait longer, because I know that 7$ helps speed up and increase the amount of content we get

i didn't bring those up since the mods hate it and it's not a fair comparison, but those guys only have a single 2$ tier. think about it.
dekarous (domina) or numeric gazer (under the witch) both have 10$ as their highest tier, teary has 19$. to each their own, but 50$ feels over the top. it's just an uneducated guess, but to me this smells more like a simp/findom thing (which is fine i guess), than a reasonable patreon tier that is needed to pay for the artwork.

I agree 50$ does seem over the top, and I wouldnt pay it but if people do thats alright with me because that means we could get more content
UTW doesnt require him to buy artwork, I have no clue how his process works, Teary makes his own art which cuts down alot on the cost of making his game (although it probably slows down the development)
if one person pays 50$, we get a picture worth of content,
if 5 people pay 10$, we get a picture worth of content
so I am glad if people are willing to pay more because we get more content
I brought up TOT because they have no development cost (other than time) and they make alot more
Sailia has development cost (paying someone for art)
I personally think UTW in itself is a simp subscription (nothing wrong with that) mostly due to the lack of content
as for Domina, I don't even like talking about that anymore with how much I have been disappointed I haven't even played the last few releases
but I agree, simp/femdom, whatever it is as long as it provides me with more content and helps a developer that I feel like deserves it
femdom games *that I enjoy* feel rare now-adays

In the latest build of the game, Business Research 01 doesn't seem to be working for me. It says that my cryptominers should give double, but I'm still only getting 1 currency per day per cryptominer. I got it during the first week, if that matters.

is it the "unstable" that makes you draw that line? to quote salia from the post, regarding the cheaper 20$ tier (still more expensive than teary's highest tier btw):
"it is then not so buggy"
teary doesn't even have a special patreon tier with early access, in fact he communicates awefully little with his patreons. it's also not the most stable game around, but i never claimed that either.
teary isn't/claims to be female, so you probably don't mean anything regarding simping either... so i honestly don't see your point. please elaborate.

i think it was a joke referring to unstable / masochistic
with katalist known to be quite buggy upon release that its nearly a masochistic experience to playthrough
that how I read it, it made me a chuckle a bit because I know how frustrated I got when he released that "bloody area" under the tower

You can talk the VIP-Patrons and those high spenders down as much as you want.
You can call them simps and losers. But they are like 70% of the reason this project lives.
Yes, 10% of the patrons are financing ~70% of the project.
If half of those quit tomorrow, for whatever reason, then the project would be in a very critical state.
Those high tiers are keeping the project alive.
I looked at other patreon creators, and I kinda wanted to test the new tiers,...
So I thought maybe it's a good idea to ask the community with a poll. And I acted what the polls suggested.
I got 1 person who pledged 50$ and 1 person who pledged 20$
Thats 1 art and 3-4 facial expressions.
So much for the financial situation.
Anyway, the week is almost over, the free version / aka 5$-patron-version is coming tomorrow.
All that changed for the 5$-guys is: There was 1 week wait for nothing.
But from now on there will is more picture per update.
