QSP v5 is not optimized the RAM. This software takes up more and more RAM when you play longer... I see this software uses 15GB RAM after playing more than one hour

Holy shit this game engine has no auto cache clearing on the RAM this game engine is bad as balls if the guy use unity or even renpy on this game at least has both auto cache clearing.QSP v5 is not optimized the RAM. Damn that sounds terrible. I am really wondering why the author doesn't just use renpy. I am unironically wondering since porting all the events and the dialogues takes maybe a few days at max since the game doesn't involve any complex systems and renpy coding is basically like pseudocode (helps if you also do a bit of python which is not hard to learn) and makes users life much easier since it's very customizable, has a stable UI compared to whatever QSP UI is and doesn't need much memory to run. Some devs like to make their own life and the life of their users as hard as possible I guess...QSP v5 is not optimized the RAM. This software takes up more and more RAM when you play longer... I see this software uses 15GB RAM after playing more than one hour

Trying to play this makes me feel like an idiot. The interface is so unintuitive and navigating it is so awkward.

this thing is 11gb, it really needs a torrent
Idk why this dev refuses to change the engine. Playing this game feels like playing pokemon red, extremely outdated. Renpy is 100 times better.

idk, its almost like all games made in Russia/Ukraine just have to be on QSP engine, have many gigabytes of unoptimized pictures to download, to have counterintuitive interface (general QSP feature) and have this frustrating micromanagement like go to bathroom, brush teeth, go to kitchen, open the f-ing fridge, make sandwich -> oh wait you forgot to buy components, go to the supermarket -> oh wait you have to cross the city several times to find one... Its all trouble and no sex, just like IRL.
the western equivalent to QSP horror is RAGS, I suppose.
Good thing this dev offers a way to skip all this tediousness with a convenient option integrated into the game, this is why I support him even though I would love to see this game ported to a more modern and sensible game engine
how do you play this game ? it just give me north district then north distract and wait 10 minutes
you can call a taxi by using the buttons on the right side of the screen. Unless you have altered the interface by moving things around (super annoying when that happens). If you're still unsure on what to do, post a screen

The solution is to use x86 32 bit version of QSP - it should have HARD limit to 4 GB max RAM usage on x64 platform - if it even use THAT much!QSP v5 is not optimized the RAM. x64 allows for unlimited memory usage, no matter if the app really needs it - if memory is there, the app will use it.
