What if those who like his game have already become his patrons. It's only about 50-70. All other people either don't care about the game or don't like it. When the developer finally understands this, he will stop wasting time and effort and the project will be abandoned, unfortunately.

It doesn't get updates and progress near as much as it should in order to gain supporters fast enough...and the lack of supporters fuels the longer delays in updates. A vicious cycle that can usually only be broken by the dev. But the fact that this game has renders as a QSP instead of straight porn like Girl Life and Clean Slate actually is a huge positive and advantage imo.

eh, it was only a minor note in my comment in general. Like I said, I remember mostly enjoying the game when I played it. It just didn't have enough preggo content for me when I tried it a few months ago, so I was waiting for it to further develop before I went for another run at it. I want to say it's only had like 3 updates since March. Clean Slate is pushing out an average 1 per week and Girl Life about 1 per month with already years of development behind it. That was my biggest complaint with the game, and hence where the bulk of my critique lay.

Also worth noting, Clean Slate and Fem Life were both at about version .2 in March and both had similar amount of content available. CS is at .6.4 currently and has sizable content and story with it. I know version numbers mean nothing when comparing games, but like I said, they were very closely comparable in March on those aspects. Also, CS is also a 1 man shop. I also get renders take longer and so does prioritizing life over a game, but it still impacts gaming support. We also need to take into account that he has an official job in order not to starve to death))) He develops the game in his spare time. Yup..I also covered both those in my previous 2 comments. Basically it's another price to pay and that cost is slower releases and as a result less supporters. I like the renders and the game in general, but it doesn't change the competition nor the basic math of the problems.

This means that the developer has three options.
1) keep working in this mode, release updates slowly, and keep hoping that help will come and better times will come.
2) Replace the renderers with porn images from the Internet.
3) stop developing the game and just relax or spend time with a friends in a free time from official work.

pretty much... although #2 would be stupid and wasted extra work. Alternatively his 4th option would be to increase his output and probably degrade his sanity....I didn't say there were any great options for him...only stating that he cannot alter consequences of "cause and effect".

As it is, QSP is a more aquired taste and smaller market to begin with, so he also has that working against him too.

If every person who likes FemLife and likes to play it would become a $ 1 Patreon then I'm sure we would have hit that $ 800 (which the developer says will keep him safe and leave his job). $ 1 is nothing, and more frequent and arguably better updates sound enticing.

Personally, I am waiting for the latest update and the next. I would love to stay with him, because it's a very interesting qsp game (it appeals to me more than Girl Life - although I like her too). The heroine here is flesh and blood, not just an avatar and a photo from the Internet. They like it very much and it is his brand worth taking care of.
