Well, is there a definition which is sharp and always applies? Probably not. It is a sliding scale, and subjective at that as you pointed out. However, there's a difference between "this game includes cutting off the nipples of the girls you had sex with" and "this game features a character named Stacy and I have had really bad IRL experiences with a Stacy, not to forget Stacy's mom". Both these facts may deter you from playing or they may not, but I'd argue that there would be a common understanding which is more controversial.

Your final line pretty much shows it's not that much of a change of pace. The game is called fetish locator, it is all about a shitload of fetishes and it features a dude who has been a puppet on a string for this app from the start. In sense, he has had very limited agency from the get go. So something like the cage thing was expected the way I see it.
I didn't like it at all. The whole chastity/lock fetish does nothing for me as I always try to play a complete man-whore MC, no matter the game and the story. But I can still see it's on par with the theme of the game and done for obvious plot reasons. Now if it overstays its welcome and suddenly this game is about a dude who is perma-locked and throws everything else into the trash...that's another story. But I don't see that happening (and if it does I'll just look elsewhere).
I agree. The MC is being blackmailed! WHY would a blackmailer give you a chance to win if they enjoy watching you suffer? They gave what they thought was an impossible task and you succeeded against their desire, so you get an automatic loss. We don't know Fetish Locator's end game. Just play it through. I mean it's not like your real dick is in a cage!

My question got buried in the senseless arguing.
I am saddened that I couldn't play the update, yet the thread is telling me everything about the new update that I got to miss.
But, if I have to start over, due to old saves not working, I'm likely to just wait til the game is finished, cause I really hate having to start over this far into the game.

When I started week 3 I got the option to continue from week 2 and it just started from there, it didn't give me a choice as to which save file to go with, I assume that it took the last completed week 2 one ...
do i have to give Amrose points at the end of week 1 ?

I really liked this game. I loved that you could pick what fetishes you wanted and didn't. Five stars all the way. At least until I downloaded week 3. Stoped the game at having to make the first choice. Just not for me. For me it drops my rating of the game down to two stars. Out of respect for the work done I'm not going to rate the game A lot or work was put into this game and I respect that. Best of luck with the game.
