Don't you feel if you going to support a product or a game or what ever you should know what you signing up for?
Like you don't need to know the ending to spoil the game but know what the ending in tails for example this game you should know if it will have multiple endings in the game, harem ending, what girls will get the endings, stuff like that. because if you support a dev from the start of the project and they work on it monthly you pay for it monthly not knowing what or if you will enjoy the full game in the end. meaning you might wast your money for example a harem ending only for example.
If you feel that way that is okay and you don't need to support it or can ask the dev directly whether they would give a hint. Also look out for devs who include this information (some do). However, many projects don't know exactly where they will be heading in the beginning, there may be plans but they completely vanish (has happened to Tolkien, too) so making it a general requirement probably wouldn't solve the issues. Dev says what they plan to do, you decide whether it is enough to go on for you personally to support.

What the fuck lmao is this dev's head empty or something. Is there at least like some sort of recap in week 2, or do I really have to download two huge files to play this evidently unfinished game.
"Evidently unfinished" is every game that does not have the "completed" tag. Most games on here are works in progress, everything might change, new content will arise, and so on. And you don't have to do anything - you can just ignore a game if you don't like its file size. And yes, many games split into different parts because putting them all into one game would force Ren'Py on its knees. As much as I personally prefer single games, sometimes it isn't viable.

Oh, and there can be no recap of week 1 because you decide what happens in week 1.

Lmao this is such a stupid comparison. It's more like Lucas re-adding shit to an already finished movie like he did with the Anakin force ghost in RoTJ.
That comparison isn't better either since the game isn't finished. There have always been two versions, with the "extended" lagging behind. If you want the whole content just skip the non-extended versions. You will be a tad behind though. Maybe consider it a "director's cut" where you also will rewatch much of the movie in much the same way you did before to get some extra scenes which may or may not change the course of the story.

Is this the final extended version of week 2? As in does it contain all of the added scenes that will be added to that week? Since the extended version requires replaying previous content I like to wait until it's completely done before I go back to it.

WTF? Compressed is just smaller version with lower res images.

Week 1 is the first week, week 2 is the second week. You can set your week 1 conditions at the start of week 2 if you wish, similar to Witcher 3, or play week 1 and continue your save in week 2. Follow the in-game instructions to do so.

And this is why the dev releasing and re-releasing so many versions and extended versions is stupid as fuck. It gets everyone confused.

Better off just playing other games and waiting until the final week super duper hyper extended version is out.
