Just got around to finishing the update, and ngl I like quite a bit how the game's narrative is shaping up to be.
Things really ramped up for the better with
Richard's arrest and MC finding the whole Breaking Bad revelation; and I have to say, Isabel and Callista have become my favorite characters (though I'm totally interested in Annika too!).
Sandbox also seems pretty easy enough and not really grindy which does make going through the game a more relaxed experience which is good.
Couple of questions for
Onyx Decadence.
1) The banner in the thread's OP has 7 characters iirc;
Claire (DA), Isabel (chemist), Callista (model), Riley (stepmom), Elizabeth (stepsis), Mila (close friend), and the last girl that I don't remember seeing in this chapter 1 (unless I totally forgot).
I'm guessing she will get introduced in chapter 2?
2) How many LIs in total will there be, including the 7 listed above (as per in the banner), there's also
Annika, the Swedish exchange student who also shows up in the game's main menu; so I'd imagine she'll at least be a significant role to some degree.
So I guess that makes it 8?
Is that all the LIs confirmed or are more coming in the future chapters?
3) In the early game, we receive points in which we can distribute to the MC. Will we have points in every chapter where we gain points, and we can distribute them, I guess like....... RPG games?
4) Regarding the distributing the points, I just ended up putting them equally to each attributes (so starting with 5 points for each).
There is a part in the event with Isabel
(where she first checks Richard's lab with MC), where MC says "I wanted to ask..." but there are no options with the following screen;
Is this because I didn't have enough Intelligence (guessing that's the attribute required for dialogue here) points, resulting this?
Or is there supposed to be no option at all in the first place?
Tbh, I have no idea where I can check the MC's stats.
As I said above,
I started with 5, but by the time I got around to first talking with Callista, it seemed my MC's charisma rised to 7, being able to persuade her to tell him whether she takes drugs or not.
Would be nice if there was a section of the game where we could keep tabs on them.
5) Will there be events in the story where there's chance to increase the stats of the MC; in whichever direction the player chooses, i.e. attribute that they feel they didn't invest enough on?
Anyway, kudos on the first release which is quite engaging.
Don't think there's lot of games out there in AVN-sphere which deal with this matter, so I gotta say it was refreshing.
Will keep following the game for future updates.
